Usually lurk on your thread alt80. But just popping on to say, you can definitely do this. You have your family and all the crew on here right behind you cheering you on. You’ve been doing great and this is just a hiccup. You are an addict, so not surprising.  Is this day 2 now?  You need to start counting those clean days again. Take care.

    Day 1 not 2.

Not about to top myself or anything re surplus to requirements just that’s all I’m good for - giving others a lifestyle not even a great one at that lol.

Only time I’m usually consistently level headed is in business. Stuff gets in the way 100% guarantee it’s my personal issues usually mad spending or the other stuff. Main reason for getting sorted that and my family. Same with the debt levels tbh.

Yeah my FIL he’s been round here today so has wife she’s coming home soon and going to do the family therapy ha knows she presses my buttons not that it’s an excuse. The therapy it’s all mindfulness and rethinking how you view things. I just get to the point of thinking I cba with practicing it day in day out. Meant to get to the point of forgetting the past and liking yourself fml I find it’s so forced it’s unreal but this is no alternative. I’m so into the debt payment life right now I spent an all-nighter running through the whole lot with my mate about my financial plans fml laughing at that myself.

If the people on here can believe in you then so can you. Yes stuff will feel forced at first but the more you buy into it the more natural it will feel.

Thanks. No idea why anyone would believe in me need your head looking at haha.

Anyway as I’m home alone and I’m sure someone might fancy a laugh, I’ve been looking at the cheap electric lease cars seen the Honda e online today- it’s a tiny little electric car but I think it looks amazing tbh. Probably wouldn’t ha but first electric car I think looks quite cool. Sent one to a staff member who likes small cars saying next co car she’d love it. I still want an AM wish those thoughts would just disappear.

Quite cute but not really practical for a family with a large dog. :)

Not a great lifestyle? I think you’ve become a bit too complacent with the things you currently have. You’ve cut back on certain spends through necessity as you were living beyond your means. You’ve not lost your business, you’ve not lost your home, you’ve not lost your car. You’ve reigned in on the pointless superficial spends that got you into debt in the first place. You are starting to see the value of things and considering purchases, not just buying for buyings sake like you used to.

Not even had a drink today but just thought I could have one of those Honda e for local work 150bhp bit slow but RWD and parks itself win win for round here lol use Range Rover for further afield and weekends ha need carting off to the funny farm probably need sectioning 100%.

@Legs21 idk I know my wife wants the clothes/ bags etc I can’t give her right now. Not even sure I want to after the debts are paid for and the balloon has been dealt with tbt.

True re complacency whatever I have never has been enough half my issue there. Someone on here said if I’m not happy on my income I’m never going to be happy true I think really.

When the dealerships open have a look at some of the electric cars in person. They are not all bad.

The other half has brought a few home through work when he has picked them up for repair on the way home. They are not all as bad as you might think.

The Renault Zoe and Nissan Leaf are probably too small for you but there was a Tesla he brought home that was actually really nice and quite spacious.

@RelievedSheff what are you doing out of bed 10pm lol.

I really don’t like Tesla’s lot of people I know are mad for them. Don’t think they look good and shocking interior too IMO but the 3 going on the staff co car list they want one I don’t mind. Leaf/ Zoe - no thanks.
