I am not sure I agree people  should be able to jump the queue and pay for it above others who cannot afford it but still need it.  Teachers, policemen, supermarket workers and nhs should be prioritised as well as clinically vulnerable.  Won't comment on the car situation.

Saw a London based company was named and shamed for trying to jump the vaccine queue for their staff.
Not sure what benefits beyond the obvious it would really bring as restrictions aren't lifted for those that are vaccinated and doubt they will be for some time.

Your attitude to money strikes me as all or nothing and switching between extremes like a driver who only and always slams the accelerator or brake hard into the floor - quite often being more varied in pedal use gets you to the same destination in very little more time, is better for the car and easier on the passengers and other road users. Same with choices about debt repayment and spending and being a good money driver, especially the impact on your family, and the financial implications of that impact.

So the makeup is really good value?  Though you need to balance it against the make up and clothes spending happening much more often than car buying, and it sounds like most of holiday spending, presents and not-supermarket clothes for your son should be in her budget.  Maybe not 50:50, but not 100:0 either.  Also goes for spending time and attention alone:together is probably neither 50:50 nor 100:0 and putting effort into finding topics to talk about which while they are neither your nor her top preferences might be acceptable to you both.  Cooking seems one potential topic, perhaps interior design of your projects (though you said she once took an interest and you pushed her away - you would need to apologise and take her seriously in future).

Initially I was keen to get the shot. Did have a time of thinking has it been tested properly etc but being a bit of a hypocrite really I’ve sniffed plenty of stuff that’s not been through a peer review process haha. Not killed me yet lol. 

Flat conv project is go. 🔥🔥🔥 properly back in the game now and buzzing for it. Been to dev block today too decent progress there. On track for completion. Def back to getting some highs off the property side of things. Smashing the goals on business side of things too. !!!!!! love it. 

Re teachers/ police etc I think they should get it too. However my staff and I 100 as likely to catch it completely forgotten by government and holding property market together. Ones wfh in office jobs should get it last - they aren’t really putting themselves at risk. So think if it’s going to be through nhs only they should work on priority groups which they have done for age/ medical but not profession.

I’m not all or nothing just don’t want to be mugged for !!!!!! like makeup anymore seen that’s been at the expense of a potential AM. Just thinking out loud re cars - may well not bother and 100 won’t be buying something that depreciates so not the worst decision in the world. If I do push the debt back up a bit, will only be for a car. I’m done with being in debt to impress the wife. Could be better for me to have a car something to do at weekends when lockdown over/ weather better idk. Better than getting wasted 100%.

Know what you mean re wife conversation. She’s no designer haha get my sister on board for that usually. Tbh my eye for interior design is a lot better than the wife’s and sister is on my wavelength for it. Cooking tbf we do talk about food and drink sometimes. Does tend to descend into the !!!!!! calories, macros, chemical composition of it or whatever though fml. I just like food and wine haha. She doesn’t have much in the way of interests outside the clothes/ makeup IG stuff basically reading, cooking, films, music / singing, fitness and sport that’s it all she does apart from IG, house stuff and son. !!!!!! boring so far as topics of conversation go. I suppose I just wish I’d found someone who was on my wavelength property/ cars all I ever want to talk about lol would be happy days if she found an interest. She’s no interest in either and after this long can’t see her changing and I’ve got no time for the !!!!!! she’s into lol.

Why on earth do you want to talk to your wife about property and/or cars?  Is that all you can talk about?  My DH is into model railways and engineering which to be honest leaves me cold and he has mates with the same interests so he chats to them just as I have friends who are interested in talking about walks/gardening and reading.  DH and I are both interested in technology and travel and keep fit so we can talk about that as well as family, tv programmes and films etc.  You have friends to talk about  the property and cars so you do not need your wife to take that much interest in that surely unless that is all you talk about?

@Onebrokelady Hahaha actually had a bloke make a pass at me on a comm job the other day. Nice to know I’ve still got it tbh haha. Penhaligon Halfeti apparently his favourite fragrance too no idea if it’s some sort of signal or something but I won’t be wearing it again for a while haha. Was actually fairly disturbed he knew what it was. @ryanm8655 stick with the Aventus lol.

@RelievedSheff lol too right esp the kids male or female haven’t got a !!!!!! clue. I really hope your OH !!!!!! appreciates you, he’s more lucky than he’ll ever know mate. Tbh he can hit me up anytime if he fancies a wife swap.

Interestingly, I was teaching about arranged marriages today. We were looking at things that were important when it came to picking someone and all of the male students put 'aftershave' as something that was an important factor when considering a partner.
