Can’t really believe it but another decent night’s sleep. Didn’t even bother with the herbal pill.
Wife is killing me in the gym so is happy lol. I’m enjoying it tbh takes my mind off the destructive stuff. She’s also busy with son so got enough without IG to entertain herself with. She said she’s not sure some of her IG friends are real friends lol could have told her that a long time ago.
Bit deflated this morning realising its Friday. Told wife to have a think what we can do with time over next few days and I will too - nowhere to really spend money right now so doing well on that front. Probably get out for a good walk - don’t think we’re allowed to go for a drive/ go to somewhere different for walk. Wife seems to think we can if we don’t do anything but walking idk what the world has come to when this is the main point of conversation. 😆3 -

I will be honest though we will be driving to some very local places to get some variety of walks in. We won't be taking the mickey though and going miles and miles. Just very local places within a 5-15 minute drive away.2 -
Thanks @RelievedSheff not sure anyone knows what they’re doing now tbh.2

I know you are trying to avoid spending but if you have visibility of any clothes you need over the next year worth checking out the JL sale and focus on the stuff you will NEED even if just a couple of works shirts sale price now better than full price when you need them.
Can you combine a mini essential shop with a fresh place to go walk/exercise?

Walks are supposed to be local so from home or very short drive. I do a lot of coastal walking normally but my nearest stretch is 15 minutes drive so not done any since lockdown 3. It is icy up there anyway but one of my walking group friends decided to drive around 20 minutes to the coast path yesterday, slipped on mud/ice and sprained her ankle so had to get coastguard rescue to get her to hospital for x ray etc. That is why people shouldn't be walking in places like that at the moment because even if remote the inaccessibility means the already stretched emergency services may be called upon in case of accident particularly when icy.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. It's great to see the positive impact getting better sleep as had on you. I think you do right to plan for the future and the fact you can see that as a good future shows how far you have come in a relative short space of time. I am so glad you are seeing the benefits of balancing work/home life both your son and wife will be loving the benefits of this.2

OH just read this out to me, just one County, no way of knowing what criteria others will go by

One of our walks that we would class as local (a 10 minute drive) is over the Derbyshire border. Think we will give it a miss for now. Don't really fancy 2x£200 fines for walking the dog!!3
