Glad you’re sleeping better even if still fatigued! My sleep seems to have fixed too so I guess that was the moving stress. Trouble is I’ve gone back to old me waking up at 8/9 and struggling to get up ha. Christmas has ruined me.
Also getting a bit ill. Think it was the three days of heavy boozing on the bounce up at my uncles and then on move in day. Will definitely be using this lockdown to get into healthier habits. Odd drink for sanity...
Glad you’re still on the dry jan bandwagon. Will do you a world of good! Also think getting your wife involved in projects is a great idea!August 2019: £28.8k
November 2020: £0 (0% interest)

We have both been glad of a break from the booze this week and getting back into the routine of not drinking Monday to Thursday. We had a drink everyday over the Christmas break and it got a bit much even though we never went mad.2

Will respond later but another offer in for a project, I must be !!!!!! mad. 😆
Actually feel in the best place I’ve been in for years. Nothing self destructive just working through each day to a plan. Smashing business goals not just coasting along but switching off 6pmish also. Weird getting a bit of a home life, switching the emails off and actually getting more done haha. Buzzing for it but not letting it just become the next thing in a whole line of self destructive behaviour - been there for many years and tbh the business life was something else I was obsessive over with emails etc.Still sleeping, not massively preoccupied with lack of sleep or with the debt issues. First time in my life I think it’ll work out for me or I at least have a chance. First time in my life I feel I’ve got any future at all tbh. Probably sounds odd to some on here as I earn ok and have built a business but I never saw beyond tomorrow in a lot of ways. Property portfolio was always about not planning a future but about image being able to say I’ve got units too lol.7 -

Great that business is good as well and you have started to move forward.
You do have a chance, you have more than a chance and you will get it right. You have achieved so much already.
You seem in a really good place.
Turning off at 6pm to have family time will be lovely for your wife and son too. The different side of you now that you have started to tackle the debt might make her more inclined to keep it going too. Has she managed to stay off IG?September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x3 -

Glad to hear you are sleeping better and finding a work/ family balance. Such a change in a short time. Well done.

No doubt the sleeping better, keeping off the alcohol and feeling more in control of finances so less stress is helping you focus better. Planning for the future is great and seeing the bigger picture sounds promising. Thanks all. Actually just been thinking I’m really grateful for the replies and support I’ve had on here. Over years I’ve drove away almost all of the positive influences in my life, got left with the destructive ones other people who had similarly self destructive problems. Don’t want that out of life anymore.
Little to report on finances - still nothing sold tbh think people are possibly holding back as we’re in another lockdown. Wife has reviewed and is still off IG. We are trying to spend less time on phones/ online generally at the moment.
Another no spend day today and still on the dry jan haha don’t know how we’ve got this far! 😆
Off to bed now another early one keep at it I think.7 -
