Lloyds Bank £100 switching offer ends 9 Nov 2020

I hope it will go smoothly for me since I'm already with Halifax, which is the same group as Lloyds. I'm also pre-approved for all Lloyds credit cards when I do eligibility check online.

My better half applied to switch from Halifax and was advised at the end of the application they would confirm via the telephone number held with  Lloyds . However nothing heard and she has  not phoned. them.  However she does have a TSB account if any issues.

It turned out my previous account number had been typed in incorrectly, so entirely my fault. How embarrassing, never done something that dumb before.

But what is weird is my old bank messaged me to confirm I was switching. 

I don't know anymore! Anyways, sorted.

Still wait for account to be opened feels like it taking ages 

Hopefully they will email me to say it’s open today of not will ring them

Do Lloyds normally take this long?

Didn't you get a text message telling you when it would be complete?

I got a message on the day I applied telling me they had received my application (Wed 9th). The next day I received another message telling me it would be complete this Friday 18th

@ColdIron Nope all I got was email saying need to bring ID to branch & text message giving me link to upload Photo of Driving License & 3 selfie’s (Error code/timed out first try) 2nd try it worked & said thank you for sending us your Id we will let you know the outcome of your application 

should I wait till tomorrow or should I ring the New Accounts team number (Lloyds Gave it to me on Twitter) I just wanna know the status of my application

Did you have to prove ID when you applied for the account? 

I hate waiting for things just wanna know what stage they at with my application
