Six max £5 cashback per spend and save account. That’s it. No second time around.
Open another or convert existing Classic plus if desperate for another string of six fivers.Tell me where the terms and conditions mention this maximum of six £5 cashback payments.Whether or not it happens, I guess we'll see.
I don’t think you can go round again and the clock is ticking from month of opening.0 -
Just had 29 transactions refunded from my credit card, I think they are on to me.1

I've been paying off my Barclaycard in £1 transactions, 120 each month! In a way I'm glad my six months are up on the TSB account.0

I don’t think you can go round again and the clock is ticking from month of opening.Opening an account is defined in condition 1.1 thusly:"Opening a new account includes changing an existing TSB account, other than a Classic account, to a Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account."By your logic, you wouldn't get cashback from changing a Classic Plus.0 -
Well l do get cashback after changing a Classic plus as per the conditions.
If you think your idea will work go for it.0 -

The recipient of micro transactions may not wish to do business with you going forward or may trigger their AML/fraud processes.
I'd rather a less passive aggressive approach where they told me what they considered was acceptable.

I'd want to talk to them before actually spending money to have the spend and save plus & then downgrading it, that it would work. I'm more likely to close it and open it again, but then again I'm getting bored with all these debit card payments.

I think the logic is that maximum of 6 x £5 would have already been paid on account number 00000000 upgrading to S+S Plus then downgrading it back to normal S+S wont change anything ..........

I'm more likely to close it and open it again, but then again I'm getting bored with all these debit card payments. All the paperwork received upon changing from Spend & Save Plus states this is a 'new Spend & Save account', which would undermine that argument. This was the same when changing from Classic Plus, and as far as I can see is almost the same as opening an actually brand new account - so consistent with the stated 'includes changing an existing TSB account, other than a Classic account, to a Spend & Save account'.bristolleedsfan said:phillw said:WillPS said:
