Hello I'm thinking of getting a s&s account as want the "pots" option.
What is the difference between the standard &bthe plus version also what is this £5 bonus people are talking of?
Both your questions are answered on the TSB website page detailing their current accounts - https://www.tsb.co.uk/current-accounts/
So you get £5 back but the account costs £3 so you profit £2 correct?

I'll probably just go with a standard s&s not the plus version. I am existing customer so hopefully it will be straight forward to open.
    Some questions:
How many s&s accounts can I have?
I can set up 5 pots, is this 5 pots + the account so essentially money in the account can be divided into 6 groups?

There is no stated limit on the number of Spend and Save accounts a customer can hold, but they reserve the right to downgrade Spend and Save Plus if you open more than one of them.

Each account is credit checked individually, so one should be careful before opening more than 1 in a short period of time.

Lloyds Bank told me some time ago only 1 credit check per 24 hour period I have opened 2 TSB within 24 hour period only noticed 1 credit check on these occasions

No need for any of the acrobatics, just open a new Spend & Save account (or 'change an account other than Classic to Spend and Save*) and you'll get a fresh 6 months of bonuses on the new account.

    Credit check every time.
Smashing, I will give that a go then.  Thanks for your reply.

Interesting. Lloyds and Halifax don't seem to credit check existing customers for new accounts currently - at least I haven't been credit checked when opening additional accounts recently, last time was Halifax a few days ago.

I was not an existing customer, applied online, encountered some kind of error at the end, phoned to apply online, asked about multiple credit checks,  that was when I was informed 1 credit check per 24 hour period
