    Morning folks!

@alt80 - I hope you got some sleep and feel a bit brighter today
@Baileys_Babe - sounds like you have lots of nice projecty bits going on

Urgh, body clearly forgot that it's Saturday and I woke up at 10 to 5!  Hopefully nothing that a few coffees can't sort out. Today we're going up to m-i-l's in the afternoon to do more sorting but we've said we won't stay for tea. She will be very disappointed by this but we have tonnes to do this weekend. Here's a big rolling list:
:star: B/L/D from stores. No excuse really as it's the start of our meal plan on a fri/sat so lots in
:star: Buy my conditioner in bulk online - done
:star: Bulk Powders order if a good code - offers not good at the mo but they change a lot so will keep looking
    :star: Reconcile budget sheet
:star: Take blocking pins out of my shawl and admire
:star: Munched up some raspberries that OH was meant to eat before they went off - done
:star: Buy a gate for the side path and hang it - ordered the stuff I need from Wickes. Got cashback on my insurance too. Also had lawn rake for £7.
:star: Paint sign for path on piece of wood I found in the shed and using paint already in - done
:star: Nip to shop to buy outdoor varnish for allotment sign and path sign. Also look for lawn rake and jam pot lids. - done. didn't have lawn rake (at a price I wanted to pay) or lids, but I did remember brush cleaner.
:star: Take parcel to post office - done
:star: Make tomato soup to deal with glut of veg box tomatoes- in oven with some other bits of veg and home grown herbs
:star: Go to fabric shop and deal with long list of required purchases for (christmas) presents - done. Only one thing not bought
    :star: Repot some chilli plants
    :star: Go to allotment
:star: Sew more tie ribbon to my jelly bag
:star: Wipe down CDs from m-i-l's house (not a covid precaution, they were in the loft whre f-i-l smoked)
:star: Cast on dad's 2nd (christmas) sock
:star: Finish unpicking shirt once I have a new stitch ripper
:star: Knock up a few ear-savers (goes on the back of your mask) for work colleague. He had throat cancer a few years ago and the radiotherapy didn't do his ear any favours so the masks are hurting him a bit

Phew! That's a huuuuge list. I feel tired reading it back!

    Have a good one all

I think that if I try to get the annoying bits done today I'll be able to do some of the nicer bits tomorrow :)

Morning  wowzers CLF that's a long list!

Thanks for all the kind wishes. The doctor was very nice and did give me some strong painkillers and something to help with the anxiety of actually going to the dentist, and by some miracle the pain has eased off now. Roll on Tuesday when I can deal with it once and for all.

I actually didn't go to work and then woke up not in agony so feeling a bit bad.... (ha ha not bad enough to go!)

    Today:
    * Load of washing, line dry & put away
    * Go to the allotment at some point
    * all meals from stores - get something out of freezer for tea
    * watch tutorial on full bust adjustment and put in to practice :smile
    * carry on knitting sock
    * Do an hour's work on prepping kitchen - I will do this today! employed the frog method!
    * might go through the freezers, re-organise and work out what we have so I can start running down in prep for December - @DawnW want to have the freezer challenge again?
    * play a board game with madam and oh later
    * get oh to contact builder
    * list 3 things to sell

Ok that'll do! Hope you all have a good day

    Morning all :)
Awake at 4.30 again, but it is Saturday and feels relaxed, so not complaining. Dog walk done, breakfast eaten and just on my second big mug of coffee :)
I gather we are forecast another couple of days of 30 degree temperatures in the coming week, so not looking forward to that much! Anyway, today's plans:
Freezer sort out / tetris to fit in some YS bread and rolls I got during one of my rare supermarket visits yesterday
    Some financial admin
OH is muttering about hoovering downstairs, so I will tackle the rugs and dust some of the furniture while he tackles the wooden and tiled floors
Fill some recently vacated troughs and sow winter salads in the greenhouse
Check to see what needs picking in the garden - there will be courgettes and raspberries at least
Water the tomato plants and anything else that needs it. The tomatoes are nearly finished now, and look quite 'blighty'. I grow a really reliable cherry variety outside in pots. They start to fruit early so finish relatively early as well, and are pretty resistant to blight until late on.
Post an ebay item that can just be popped into an envelope
Really ought to list some other things
Cook a chicken later, will do for dinner tonight and beyond
Hope everyone has a good day :)

Morning  looks like it's going to be a beautiful day

    Small things:
    * load of washing & line dry & put away when it's done
    * an hour prepping the kitchen
    * put all I learnt about a full bust adjustment in to action on a pattern   I did it and followed the tutorial instructions just hope I did it right!
    * something out of freezer for tea we ended up eating out with the outlaws. We had desert at home, free apples crumble
    * sort out freezers. My freezers are full but not of many meal like options. Need to start running them down!
    * go to the allotment and pick produce
    * take dog for a long wak. will take drinks and snacks
    * make ham & melted cheese wraps for madam's lunch tomorrow
    * carry on knitting sock
    * do one outstanding repair to whittle down my things to do pile. Last night I repaired a hole in a pair of madam's legging using a patch from a pair of my old leggings that were holey. It took me 10 mins max but has been sitting in my pile of things to do for months!

Ok that's enough. Hope you all have a lovely day & enjoy the weather
