  • Morning - eurgh toothache is the worst! I have to have it out, and need to have it under sedation but sedation clinic is a 15 week wait. I don't think I can wait that long! I might speak to my doctor about being given some valium so I can go and have it done under a local.... I was up at 4 and had no relief despite taking neurofen with codeine. Nightmare!

    Really don't know how I will go to work tomorrow being in this much pain...

    Given this I'm not expecting big things from myself today....
    * fold & put away yesterday's washing - tut tut tut!
    * TOMM Kitchen today - need to time it at the point of painkiller's maximum effect
    * as I'll wipe down the fridge I'll make sure nothing is going to waste
    * Finish skirt - don't know why I go off the boil when I'm almost finished on projects?!
    * water greenhouse veg
    * do a lesson
    * all meals from stores
    * might make a cake, we'll see....
    * make madam's pack lunch for tomorrow - blinking 'eck this making lunches every night for the next few years is a massive drag. Might get her to make it herself tonight....
    * might cast on a pair of socks....
    * NSD

    That's all

    You have my absolute sympathies. Is it nerve pain or a small abscess? (sp?!)  could the docs give you some antibiotics if so that might relive some of the pain?

    Morning all :)
    Sorry to hear you have toothache DNMS, hope you can get something sorted soon :(
    Not Posted this week (I don't think - I have lost track) as I haven't been feeling good and subsequently haven't done very much. Actually, thinking back I have:
    Restocked my sales unit (on Monday before I started feeling ill)
    Made a banana loaf to use up some brown bananas, and an apple and raspberry crumble to use up some not nice apples from the fruitbowl (they are nice once cooked with raspberries and a bit of sugar)
    And stripped the remaining leaves off my basil plants, as they were looking very sad, and made a batch of pesto
    DD came round yesterday with little GS. She is back to work tomorrow, and feels she won't be able to come round again for a while due to the covid risk (she is a college lecturer) :(  What with feeling rotten for what seems like most of the week, that made me feel a bit sad.
    Anyway, I got a reasonable amount of sleep last night, and I feel much better today. And my blood result came back as well as can be expected, so no deterioration in my medical condition, so I have just put it down to a bug / migraine or whatever.
    I have done a bit of gardening today :) and have emptied a large pot and planted some gladioli, forget me nots and a miniature rose into the soil in the front garden, and replanted the pot with some violas I bought at the market at the weekend :) Must go and water everything in shortly to give them the best chance.
    Also relocated what is either a box or a cotoneaster seedling (I think) from a pot to a space by the workshop wall in the back garden. No idea where it came from, I certainly didn't plant it!
    I have taken the strawberry baskets down, and am watering them thoroughly in preparation for their vine weevil nematode treatment.
    Ought to push the hoover round a bit
    Dinner will be the rest of the chicken tarragon that OH helped me to make yesterday, with veg from the garden :)
    Better get that watering done before lunch.

    Good Morning everyone

    @determined_new_ms - you have my sympathies nerve/tooth pain is the absolute worse, I have damaged nerves in my left cheekbone and when that flares it's so dibillitating, hope you can get some relief

    Dull and a little chilly but  due to warm and brighten up

    Checked Bank & made PAD
    Posted letter at Post Office
    Made Banana Cake (using up bananas too far gone)
    Deal with apples fallen on garden
    Later:
    Hairdresser at home
    Swagbucks
    Purge a few emails
    Enter a few comps
    All meals from cupboards/fridge/freezer
    Check: Lucky Bob, PMP, WinaDinner
    Read or knit

    Investigate kitchen storage that I can utilise from home or free - under kitchen sink is a nightmare so this may take a while but that will also give us the opportunity to use up various products and streamline as I really want to cut down on the amount of chemicals at home.  Lots of great ideas on Pinterest so should be able to find a solution that will work for us.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Called about my f type today. Have been told there's the option to voluntarily terminate the agreement. Does anyone know if this will affect my credit rating?

    Trying to get the card usage under control I deleted the cards bar one off my phone this morning and took them out my wallet. Still easily accessible at home but has made me think I'm doing something about the mindset.

    @carrielovesfanta thanks. 🙂

    Can they be cancelled when there's still a balance outstanding without affecting your credit rating?
