What sort of an issue? As far as I remember, it just asked for sort code, account number and the last 5 digits of the debit card. My switch is set to complete tomorrow.0

Well I entered my bank details, but went back to check some previous application details. When I went forward again to the switch details, it wouldn't allow me to enter/see the details I'd previously entered.colsten said:What sort of an issue? Have returned the signature form but do they then do the same as RBS and request digidoc of passport ? Have sent twice to RBS and they say neither any good !0

How long did it take for you guys to receive a welcome email/text from Ulster? It was around 24 hours later for me for RBS. But I've still had nothing from Ulster yet.0

Amazed that the latest MSE weekly update does not mention the Ulster offer.1

I've applied to switch to ulster bank. (already had NW & RBS offers recently, so just trying my luck)
just had a form in the post which I've to sign and send back, it seems to mention supporting documents or proof of ID a lot but doesn't actually say in black & white that I need to enclose these?
I'm sure RBS & natwest used a digidocs system online, thought ulster would be similar...?
Hey Fenwick, I got the same form today, did you send any supporting docs?

no I read the letter carefully about 5 times and did exactly as it said, just signed the form and returned it. I don't know what the supporting documents parts are referring to, maybe it's a general covering letter and envelope?1

I've received the same today. As they haven't specified what if any supporting documents they require I'll just send the signed form.fenwick458 said:no I read the letter carefully about 5 times and did exactly as it said, just signed the form and returned it. The text on the form they require to be signed and returned opens with "Please read and keep the following information". I can't keep it and post it back

The form had a tick box for receiving the fcsc factsheet, which hadn't been sent to me so I didn't tick itfabsaver said:

They sent me a text today after i had signed and returned "the form" asking me to call them on a freefone number, they wanted 3 months bank statements + 3 months payslips sent to them as i stupidly ticked the box for £250 overdraft, so i cancelled the application as they are unable to cancel the overdraft option their end, and will re-apply early next week.
