Exactly! Scroll on by! Love it! I have noted that you feel we should not feel obliged to explain anything. Useful to know.
There's nothing wrong with switch offers and they should be publicised. They are an excellent incentive for people to switch to a new account for their daily banking needs. Thanks to you I closed my Triodos current account and moved my daily banking to the Co-operative Bank, so I now receive a monthly reward.
I so wish this forum would allow us to properly block members - so you don't see them at all. Currently you still see a placeholder showing the 'blocked' member has posted.0 -
So you've just given kudos to the same person you'd like to block? How bizarre....! 😂0
-
Why bizarre? Maybe you're using your logic on me. Someone you dislike may occasionally say something useful. Colsten pointed out how corrupt Triodos Bank is in relation to its Cambodian operations, and for that I am grateful. Triodos refutes the claims but I am in no position to counter its protestations. However, I find posts by certain people irritating and there often appears to be a clear need to increase a post count by commenting on anything and everything. In some other online communities if a person is blocked you never see them or their posts again. I would love that here!0

Fair enough. That's your opinion.0

@gsmh, I asked for clarification on your comments and I apologise for causing you to see red. It was not my intention.
You have now clarified your posts saying that "Challenging an immoral (IMO) action is not quite the same as calling those who perpetrate it immoral."
I understand now that you are challenging what you regard to be an immoral action.
I will not be opening this account but have no issues with others doing so or with Ulster Bank for making the offer. It is clearly part of their business plan although not one that I would even attempt to understand.1 -

I still cannot see how they will recoup £100 per customer in the short, medium or even long term.0
