We are certainly in a lot better position then when we started this diary 7 years ago. And a lot of that is down to the support received from you guys, so thank you all. It's been quite the journey so far.

We finally got the log book back for the Sierra this week from the change of address so I have just been to the post office and put it onto the Historic tax class. It's now fully road legal, well as of tomorrow, for the first time in a long time.

Might have a run out in it this weekend.

Not much else happening at the moment. We have a window and the utility room door being replaced tomorrow at home. Not sure what we are up to this weekend. Sure we will find a job or two to keep us entertained.

I cannot believe 5 years have gone by since you bought the van. As others said your finances are looking great considering you have just moved.

We had a great bank holiday weekend at home.

Saturday was spent draining down and cleaning out the hot tub. While we waited for it to refill we had a wander down to the steam and vintage festival in the village to make the most of the sunshine and dry weather.

With the hot tub refilled and turned back on we now had the wait for it to reheat and rebalance the water quality.

Sunday was a rainy day so we spent the day doing a few more jobs in the garage. We finished boarding out the loft space in there and had a good tidy up. Then it was time to get in the hot tub and relax. We have have waited six weeks for this and it was as good as we had hoped. Definitely worth the wait.

Monday was drier than forecast so we decided to get the Sierra out, give it a wash and take it for it's first road legal drive in 10 years. We didn't go far, just to the garden centre and the pub. We will need to have a fair few local runs with it before we fully trust it again. Then it was back home for a garden spa day with a sauna and a dip in the hot tub again.

The house is really coming into it's own now we are getting on top of the list of jobs.

We are back at work now for a few days. This weekend I am cleaning the carpets, the new carpet cleaner arrived yesterday so I suppose I need to try it out. The carpets on the whole don't look too bad. One of the spare bedroom ones is the worst but I have every confidence it will clean up well.

Mr RS is hoping that the utility room cupboards arrive on time for the weekend. He was wanting to install those this weekend but we have not had the delivery notice yet despite them being ordered for delivery this week!

Sure he will find something else to keep him busy if not.
