We discovered Blaggis yesterday. Oh my. How did we never know this existed. A mix of black pudding and haggis that is battered and deep fried, like a sausage I guess. So nice.
Today we have been on out travels again. We followed the coast road to Stranraer where we had a pit stop for some shopping then it was onto the Mull of Galloway, the most southerly point of mainland Scotland. It was a bit blustery up on the tops.
We are now tucked up on the campsite at New England Bay where the weather has turned very Scottish and is cool 16 degrees and raining. Hopefully it will clear up soon because we have a lovely beach and bay to explore.
In other money news its money shuffle day so £100 to the Premium bonds and £300 to the savings account.
Looking forward to swordfish steaks with cheesy potato bake and greens for dinner tonight.2 -

Have a great holiday @RelievedSheff I’ll definitely be checking in over the rest of your holiday, although rn you are not giving me an awful lot of faith about the weather up there… its been 30 here and sunny today. Daren’t show my Mrs the pics, I told her the weather won’t really be any different to here when we go next year.
I’ll have to try the blaggis. Whilst we don’t have it here our chip shop (best in the UK, no lie) does battered black pudding which is always on our order.0 -
The weather has been very cool up here compared to the Midlands!
Still very pretty though.

Another day another bay.
This time the Isle of Whithorn and the community run free aire.
Unfortunately the community pub doesn't do food on a Tuesday so we are eating on the van again. Antelope burgers tonight then with sweet potato chips, onion rings and coleslaw.2
