Yes we are having another BBQ tonight. Far too hot to cook in our kitchen at the moment!

Will be glad when these thunderstorms finally arrive. They certainly seem to be brewing right now.

Yesterday was van payment day. Not many of those left now 😀

Today we were up and about early to beat the heat. The dog had a good walk at 6am before it got too hot. By 9am we were on the second load of washing on the line, the beet stock up shop was done and I'd been and put fuel in my car and visited the farm shop.

We washed the van and the white car early doors. Hoping for proper rain to rinse mine off. Its only dusty.

We are at the neighbours for dinner and drinks tonight so not left much to do tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣

Just need to put the bedding back on the van and vacuum it out. Didn't think it appropriate to be out vacuuming on the drive at 7 30am this morning while I was cleaning the inside 🙄

It was indeed a heavy night on Saturday and yesterday was pretty much a write off :)

Back to the grindstone today. Only five more days and then we are away for a week though so the end is in sight.

Mid week already. The count down to the holiday is on now. Can almost touch it.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is peri peri chicken with rice and greens.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • weigh in Wednesday
    • cleaning the kitchen
We brought the van sat nav in yesterday and updated the maps on it. They had not been done for a while so the update took a little while. Must remember to do it again before we go to Romania later in the year.

Thursday and a busy night ahead tonight. Work first though but we have a long list of jobs to do tonight which include:

    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the house
    • packing clothes (looks like we need to pack for every eventuality with the weather!)
    • plugging in the van and tuning on the fridge
It's a quick and easy spag bol and garlic bread for dinner tonight.

We are on the road again. If feels good to be out exploring new places.

Friday night we stayed at Scoth Corner for a quick stopover before heading over the border yesterday. We had terrible weather on the run up.

We pulled into our intended destination of Irvine to find the car park we usually use was closed for construction works so we headed a little further down the coast to Troon which it turns out was lovely.

We had a lovely afternoon catching up with family with lots of walking and chatting.

This morning we were up early and have travelled further south to Girvan. The local council here provide motorhome parking with overnight stays for £10. If only other councils were so supportive.

We have had a nice walk when we arrived and we are now waiting for family to visit again.
