It was about 18 degrees yesterday which felt nice in the sunshine. 

The antelope burgers were lovely. Definitely getting some more of those when we get home.

It's a bit overcast at the minute here. We are just watching them unload the fishing boats from the warmth of the van with a coffee. Then we will walk the dog, have a sausage sandwich and set off to today's destination. 

We are heading to a bigger town today so there should be a bit more going on 🤣🤣🤣

It's been a bit of a mixed day today. We set off early as we knew we had some narrow roads to contend with this morning. 



The weather forecast was for zero percentage chance of rain. Well that lied because no sooner had we arrived at our destination the heavens opened and we had half an hour of very heavy rain.



It did clear though and we had a good walk around the town here, lunch in a nice cafe where the portions were huge and then a couple of drinks in the pub.



We are staying on another community aire today. £10 per night including electric and emptying and refilling facilities. They have 5 spaces next to the swimming pool set in a nice park.



We have been to the fish mongers and stocked up the freezer. It's getting a bit full now!

Tonight's dinner is surf and turf with some ostrich and king prawns.

We are back over the border today. Our time in Scotland has come to an end. We have van business in Lancaster tomorrow which sees us staying at The Greyhound in Galton tonight. Just a short hop to our 7am drop off in the morning. 

We called in at Gretna Green on the way down. Have driven by so many times but never actually called in. It's very touristy, lots of foreign coaches today. 

It was then the drive down the M6 and back over the border. 

And now we are at tonight's stopover The Greyhound at Halton. The dog knows how to make an impression. We were the five minutes and he vomited on the carpet 🙈

Fortunately we are allowed back in as that's where dinner is tonight 🤣🤣🤣

It is new graphics day for the van. We are very impressed with them. Really freshened up the look of the van .

Not sure why they have taken that one down. It had the reg plate on but fairly sure we have posted that before with no issues 🙄

We are well chuffed with the van, it does look a lot more modern. 

Definitely not tied the knot 🤣🤣🤣

Have driven past so many times we figured it was time to call in and have a look.
