Enjoy the car and put the hiccup behind you. Nobody was hurt and it’s back to new. I think it would look lovely with eyelashes 😂😂😂 not!
I’m so pleased you managed to catch the dog before he bolted.
You’ve been to some lovely places.

We made the most of the nice weather yesterday and paid a visit to a local Abbey Roche Abbey.

We are heading out for a run in the car today. Not sure where yet.

Got a couple of loads of washing on the line and will have an hour tidying up the garden before we head out.

Not much else planned today. Going to do a roast chicken for dinner later.

Back to work today. Got a full 5 days to do this week. Another short week next week to look forward too though.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is cajun chicken wraps.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • weekly shop

@RelievedSheff glad to hear they paid up and not surprised re the woman who caused the damage. You've been really unlucky to have that happen to your new car, I get that it's hard to see beyond it. Not the same because it was my fault but when I crashed my car it was just the last !!!!!! straw for me. Hope you can move on/ forget and start to enjoy the car again in time.

@milann I had to smile when @RelievedSheff said it was a Fiat 500 as from what she posts on here she's about the last woman I could imagine buying one. If I was her husband I'd buy a set of those eyelashes without her knowing and stick them on late one night when she's asleep.

@Sun_Addict the public sector is a different !!!!!! world lol.

Yes it certainly wasn't what I had in mind when we said we would get me a car. Its growing on me though, it is a likeable little thing. Definitely no eyelashes though!

It's a horrible wet and windy start to the day here. Had to drag the dog out of the house this morning, he was not best impressed.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon, rice and vegetables.

No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog.

Just had our 6 monthly water bill and that has gone up £6 a month so that has almost wiped out the £10 per month saving we made on the gas and electric already!
