Time to Face The Music

Back to work again. The long weekend flew by far too quickly.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is loch trout with rice and vegetables.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• weekly shop

I have sorted out the insurance for the new car. Must be one of the cheapest cars to insure, it's cost £190 with no no claims!!

Well blimey, that has been a busy week.

I will do a proper balances summary next week once all of the money is transferred to the relevant accounts but in summary the credit card balance is paid off and the ISA funds have been withdrawn.

Although it was a short lived victory because I pick up my new car tomorrow. The personal loan funds came through on Tuesday so we paid off the car balance as soon as it arrived.

Not much else been happening really. Work has been hectic for both of us and we have been shattered by the time we have gotten home. Looking forward to a quiet night in tonight with a few beers and a pizza on the sofa.

The dog is having a bath tonight so he is nice and clean when we pick up the car tomorrow. He will probably be spoiled rotten by the sales staff again, they spoiled him last weekend!

Went spot on thank you. Wasn't expecting the full handover as we had screwed them down so much on the already heavily discounted price but we got the full show room, name plaque and flowers handover!



They definitely made no money on this one 😲

Funnily enough I never had myself down as a Fiat 500 girl either bit the little !!!!!! is growing on me 🤣🤣🤣

Bought it as a cheap run around but actually it's quite a likeable drive. No race car obviously but it's got a bit of something about it.

Have fallen down the accessories rabbit hole now. Have never known a car have so many different customisable bits and pieces. Its a minefield 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks all. It was a busy weekend but it seems to have flown by. Back to work again now. Doesn't seem like two minutes ago that it was Friday!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is another BBQ, too hot to cook in our kitchen at the minute. Tonight we are having ostrich steak, a small piece of salmon, lamb chop and grilled peppers, mushrooms and courgette.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• weekly shop

I have received the temporary password to access our Premium Bonds account again so I will sort that out today as well.
