Weigh in Wednesday showed a 3 pound gain over the 3 weeks period which I am more than happy with. Was expecting it to be much worse if I'm honest. Should be able to shed that again in no time.

Back to work again today and another cold and icy start. The coldest morning we have had yet this cold snap at -4 at home.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is seafood pasta and garlic bread.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • vacuuming the house
    • cleaning the bathrooms

3lbs on is good for over Christmas. I only gained half a pound which I was quite shocked about as it felt like a whole lot more. I'm on maintenance and only weigh in once a month to make sure everything is ticking along so I could've secretly lost some then gained more 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I was absolutely amazed it was only 3 pounds. I have eaten my body weight in cheese and chocolate over the last three weeks  :#

Hoping that is the last icy commute of this cold spell over and done with!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is a pizza. We will have a few beer and watch a film first though huddled up on the sofa.

No jobs tonight other than walking the dog. Looking forward to a chilled our evening after the first week back at work for the year!

Not got much planned for today. Another lazy weekend. Just been out for a frosty walk with the dog and now back in the house warming up again with a coffee. Going to do breakfast soon, beans on toast this morning.

Need to nip to the farm shop and pick up a chicken for dinner tomorrow but that's all we have to do today. Might have a walk up to the local pub at lunchtime for a couple of drinks.

I'm going to stick some ox tail in the slow cooker with some ale gravy for dinner later. Will serve that in a Yorkshire pudding with some mustard mash and greens.

I haven’t ventured out with the dog yet. It looks very cold and frosty out there. Nice to have a day with not much to do.

We took the opportunity of having nothing to do to sort out a couple of the kitchen cupboards that were getting cluttered and the crap drawer.

All looking much better now so we have gone to the pub to recover 🤣🤣🤣

As an added bonus it is BOGOF on drinks today 🙈

Not sure why they were doing BOGOF but we were not complaining.

The big thaw appears to be underway here this morning. The frost and remaining ice is disappearing as we watch it through the window 😃

Not got much planned for today. We have just been for a walk with the dog and had a couple of cups of coffee. Going to do some egg and soldiers for breakfast in a little while.

The first load of washing is in and will be finished in an hour so will put the towels in after that.

Thinking we might go to the garden centre after breakfast. We have a free cake voucher to use so that sounds like it needs eating 😀

Not sure what we will do this afternoon. Might get the monopoly board out again. Doing a roast chicken for dinner later. Then it will be getting stuff ready for work again tomorrow. Deep joy.
