I have woken up feeling much more rested and much brighter this morning so not sure what that was but it seems to be on the way out hopefully.
It was nice to have a slightly milder morning walk with the dog as well this morning. Didn't have to wrap up like we were going on an arctic expedition this morning.
Breakfast and lunch are from stores today. Breakfast was toast and we have both taken our packed lunches to work. Dinner tonight is a take out chicken wrap. The dog is at the groomers tonight after work which he will not be happy about so we will pick dinner up when we go and collect him.
Only job tonight is to take the dog for a walk and to the groomers. It is his first evening groom, his groomer no longer works weekends so he will no doubt be grumpy after a day at work as well.0 -
The wet weather was a bit of surprise this morning. Wasn't really expecting that we had gotten used to dry morning walks.

I had to go to the hospital for a blood test first thing this morning, I have been called into the doctors for an annual health review and the bloods is part of the tests they carry out. It was a good thing I got there early. It's a first come first served department that opens at 8am so I got there for 7.40am to find myself 3rd in the queue. By 8am there were over 30 people waiting!
I wasn't too late for work but dread to think how long it would have taken had I gotten there a bit later.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner today are from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is southern fried chicken, jacket potato and coleslaw which I will bung in the oven on the van while we go to the pub for a few beers.
No jobs tonight. We will get home give the dog a quick walk, grab a quick shower and head out in the van. It is all packed up ready, it just needs filling with water and the food putting in the fridge.
The wind is due to die down any time now here. So it should be an ok drive out into Derbyshire. We have certainly missed the worst of this storm.0 -

It is a chilly start to the day here in Derbyshire. Lovely clear blue skies though.
We enjoyed a few beers in the pub last night. We are booked in later today for food and more drinks.
Today we will be walking and shopping mostly 😀
Just warming up with coffee before we head back out again. Will do breakfast when I can feel my fingers again. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast this morning.1 -
