Sounds like you’ve had a great weekend. What is a remap?

A bit of tinkering with the ECU settings in this case to increase horse power and torque.

Something the manufacturers should achieve from the factory really!

Back to work again. The roads were very quiet this morning so I guess a lot of people have taken this week off work.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pulled pork wraps made with the leftovers from yesterday's dinner.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • weekly shop

£393 sent to the motorhome loan this morning.

Other than that not much is happening today. A quiet day all round.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is thai salmon with noodles and stir fried vegetables.

Tonight's jobs are walking the dog.

Your balances are looking very good, @RelievedSheff! I always love those zeros after the various ccs, and the savings are building nicely - I like that you have spread them between different types of account.

Newark looks like a good day out. I've never been but I do like canal-side places, having grown up near one. Modern canal-fronted buildings are often very swish and where gardens front the canal, people seem to go to town to make it picturesque. :)

Good to read you are doing well. Haven’t been to Newark in ages.

Had to smile at you having the van remapped lol although tbf the extra poke will hopefully make driving it more pleasant.

We are hoping the extra torque will mean it won't need gearing down so much on the motorway if their is a hill.

The other half had a quick run out in it last weekend down the A57 and said there was a noticeable difference in how it picked up so will see how we get on with a longer motorway run this weekend.

Its no racing machine but hopefully it will be a bit less work on the motorway now!

Midweek again. Means its weigh in Wednesday. Not holding out much hope for that this week. Not been as careful with what we have eaten!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is chicken, rice and greens.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • putting away the van home shopping delivery (this is mainly beer this time!!)
I can tell I'm getting ready for a break from work. Glad it's a long weekend this weekend. Can start the countdown to our proper holiday then.

A quarter pound loss for me today. Not a great deal but in the right direction at least.

Hoping I can drop a bit more off next week and get out of this one pound bracket I've been stuck in for a month 🙄
