Back to work again. The roads were very quiet this morning so I guess a lot of people have taken this week off work.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pulled pork wraps made with the leftovers from yesterday's dinner.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog

Other than that not much is happening today. A quiet day all round.

Your balances are looking very good, @RelievedSheff! I always love those zeros after the various ccs, and the savings are building nicely - I like that you have spread them between different types of account.
Newark looks like a good day out. I've never been but I do like canal-side places, having grown up near one. Modern canal-fronted buildings are often very swish and where gardens front the canal, people seem to go to town to make it picturesque.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

The other half had a quick run out in it last weekend down the A57 and said there was a noticeable difference in how it picked up so will see how we get on with a longer motorway run this weekend.
Its no racing machine but hopefully it will be a bit less work on the motorway now!1 -

A quarter pound loss for me today. Not a great deal but in the right direction at least.
Hoping I can drop a bit more off next week and get out of this one pound bracket I've been stuck in for a month 🙄1
