The weather forecast looks dire today. Just what we need more rain and wind! I’m sure the dog will enjoy the garden centre though especially if it’s the one with the fish 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Still not sure if we are heading out in the van today or not. Laying here with the wind howling outside it doesn't sound tempting but its due to die down just after lunchtime so who knows.
Cheese on toast for breakfast this morning. We have plenty of cheese to get used up. I have got some lamb chops out for dinner tonight. Anything other than turkey or ham 🤣🤣🤣

Lol……I’ve missed my turkey this Christmas so I’m just cooking chicken and doing my own version of a Christmas dinner tonight complete with pud and brandy sauce. We did have a gorgeous meal whilst away but I missed the cold turkey butties afterwards 😂😂😂January spends - £587.581

Sounds like you had a good Christmas but I agree with you that it's nice for things to quieten down a bit after you've had family stay. Enjoy the falconry, my boy would love that.
It's been awful weather but at least not as bad as they've had it up north and in Scotland, at least we can be thankful for that.0 -
We decided to head out in the van yesterday although we did both question that decision when we were on the A1 in heavy rain and strong winds. We have ended up in Lincoln though, we decided against Scarborough.
Within half an hour of parking up the rain stopped and the weather brightened up so we went to a few pubs before heading back to the van for dinner.
It's still windy out but we are sheltered from the worst of it.
We are going to have a lazy morning, toasted sandwiches for breakfast and we are booked into our favourite restaurant later on. Looking forward to lots of walking today in between pub stops 😀1 -
Sounds like a brilliant day planned, enjoy.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

We had another brilliant day in Lincoln yesterday. The dog is shattered. He has spent most of the night snoring.
We found some more lovely dog friendly pubs to add to our list of favourites and the meal was lovely as always.
Time to move on today. We will have a lazy morning here first though. Can't get onto the camp site until 1pm so no rush to get off. It's only half an hour from here.
We might not have an Internet reception or phone reception where we are headed so I wish you all a happy new year now while I can.2 -
