£6k looks perfectable doable and it looks like you will see the back of the annoyingly expensive cards quite soon now too.2

Just got back from a sunny but cold walk around Worksop. The footpaths in places were just a sheet of ice. Very treacherous.
The skies are clouding over now and we are due some more snow later on. So it looks like we got back in the nick of time.4 -

It’s got a bit dark here too. I took the dog on the park across the road but the path leading down was far too icy for Mr SA’s scooter so he went back home. I managed to carefully clamber down the footpath and the dog enjoyed a good run with her ball so mission accomplished 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

There are some lovely buildings in Worksop amongst the 1960s monstrosities. You just have to find them 🤣🤣🤣3 -

It's certainly no worse than Sheffield or Nottingham.
We are enjoying the small town feel after so many years in the city.
Granted there are problem areas (isn't there everywhere?), and the town centre is on its !!!!!!, but there is a lot of investment in the area which can only be a good thing.3
