What a beautiful blue sky 😍 I doubt I’ll make midnight either. Fortunately my dog isn’t bothered in the least by fireworks and the cat just sits in the window watching them. We have a local woman campaigning to ban fireworks for home use because of the distress they cause to animals.

Enjoy your evening even if you don’t see midnight 🥂

Lovely to lovely to see such blue sky. Around by me has been like an ice skating rink which I know have had enough off. Pottered in the garden for a bit this afternoon, enjoyed the fresh air. Finished off with a chippy tea. How rubbish is the tv tonight. Fireworks already going off. Happy new year everybody.x

    Happy New Year everyone.

It's going to be a no spends New year's day for us.

Bbq breakfast this morning and then we have slow cooked lamb later with roast potatoes, roast parsnip, roast swede, Yorkshire pudding, carrot, broccoli, green beans, sprouts and cabbage.

We won't be going far again with the Tier 4 restrictions in place, so it will be another local walk with the dog. Not sure where yet though. We have plenty of choice.

We don't really make New year's resolutions but this year we would like to see £6000 cleared from our outstanding balances which I think is a realistic target and breaks down to £500 per month.

We were in bed by 9.30pm 🤣🤣🤣

We did see midnight though as the dog was woken by the fireworks. He wasn't as bad as we thought he would be though. He just curled up on the floor on his dad's clothes next to our bed and fell asleep again. He pottered off back to his own bed at about 2am.

Happy New Year and glad you managed to get out for a walk before lockdown hit. We are Tier 3 in Cornwall and for first time in donkeys years we were in bed by 11.30. Only reason to stay up as my brother said on what's app is to make sure 2020 leaves  :D

Very quiet by us for a change, usually fireworks going off left, right and centre. Most people have said they were in bed. That lamb looks lovely. Beef for us tonight.xx

Fireworks by us started by us at 4.50 pm, 2nd batch around 6 pm and then roughly every hour until midnight which between all the different sets lasted about 30 minutes. For some reason, one household stated their display at 11.45 pm. We also heard a display at 1.30 am this morning.
