Sun_Addict said:Yes the Tier 4 is a bit disappointing but not surprised as most of the country in that tier now. I don’t know why they don’t just do another lockdown at least everyone would know where they stand. Glad you got to go out and about.3

Glad you got out enjoyed last day of freedom (again). Will at least mean a cheap Jan for us all.
Wife was bawling her eyes out had to laugh though when she said between the sobbing fit; ‘I don’t want no more tiers’ FML. 😆5 -
Looks like it will be a no spends new years eve! Highly unusual for us as we are usually out with friends somewhere spending a fortune 🤔
We have plenty of food and beer in the house. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Full English breakfast this morning, game pie and pickles for lunch and tonight we are having some nice rib eye steaks with sweet potato wedges, onion rings, garlic mushrooms and garlic green beans.
We won't be doing much today. Our walk with the dog will be a local one. Not sure where yet. Maybe across the fields for a change of scenery.4 -

I think Newark Castle is more air and water tight than some properties we have rented in the past 🤣🤣🤣
Well done on using up food rather than throwing it away. That is just another sign of just how far you have come.4 -
I know can just hear it in my head now FML. Said to her I’m always going to be enslaved to the banks in some way ha nature of parts of my business tbh. Don’t need it in my personal life too though.
Haha know what you mean I’ve lived in some proper building sites times when I’ve started to doubt if I’d ever complete the job on some of them 100 worse when you’re the one living there too. Tbh current house is the first ‘home’ I’ve had. Did briefly consider selling up, doing a few more live in flip projects get me in the 7 figure place but tbh I’m not sure I could do it again and wife definitely not. She !!!!!! hated living in the flips and didn’t even live in the worse ones haha.Better to have less waste on the food side tbh never really sat right with me throwing a load of food in the bin all the time.4 -
This is the first house we have had that has really felt like home. Dont know why because the last house wasn't really a project as such. We just never really felt at home there. This one we do already. Can't see us moving from here to be honest.
We very rarely throw food away. I hate wasting anything.4 -
I don’t think we’ll move from our house unless DD moves out. We’d struggle to find a house that’s so private. Nothing at the back of us and never likely to be either and a church for a next door neighbour on one side. If DD moved out we’d go for a smaller one, probably a newish one that was low maintenance with a much smaller garden. It’s nice to find somewhere just right. We moved a lot when I was a child and I just got used to one place and we’d be off again. My dad was forever wanting to upgrade to the next level.
Haven’t been to Newark for ages. Used to go a lot. Mr SA worked there and Lincoln when he was well mostly on listed buildings but some new build.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

We had a lovely local walk today. The dog came back filthy and had to go straight into the bath when we got home.
I seriously doubt we will make midnight tonight. We are both flagging now 🤣🤣🤣
We will probably get woken up around midnight though by the dog and the fireworks. There have been a few tonight already. Dog is already hiding in his blanket in his bed under the coffee table 🤔5
