We were just chatting about the shortest day 😀

Next Friday I think so not far away now. Summer will be here before we know it.

We are now finished with Christmas, until the big day of course. Everything is delivered to the relevant locations. Spoken to the family who are coming here earlier and they will arrive Saturday morning. So all is under control,  for now. No doubt there will be a minor emergency or two next weekend 🤣🤣🤣

I think weshould survive. We have enough food and drink to feed an army in the house. Just need a veg top up on Sunday.

Sounds like you’re ready for all eventualities 🙂 We’ll all be round on Christmas Day around 2pm 🤣

Back to work today. Only a short week though. I think I can manage that.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is cajun lamb wraps made with the leftovers from last night's roast dinner.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • weekly shop
  • All as organised as ever with you then!  I always find myself worrying about not having something on the food front but then reminding myself that in fact there is plenty of food, so we'll just eat something different!

Almost organised. Not going to say completely as there will definitely be something we have forgotten!

The traffic on the way to work this morning was dire. We had hoped it would be quieter on the run up to the Christmas break but it was worse than ever this morning.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is highland cow rib eye steaks with chips, beer battered onion rings, stuffed mushroom and grilled tomato.

    Tonight's jobs are:
