I really hope the child is OK x
It was bitterly cold here this morning, hope it warms up for my lunchtime walkies here.

Just had an email from our energy provider to say that we are paying too much for our energy and they have reduced our payment by £40 as of next month to £120 which is good news.
We did our own calculations and agree with their figure. It should come down further still once the new price caps are announced in the summer.2 -
That's a bit of good news to start the day

What awful news about the crash RS - here's hoping the little one makes a full recovery and the book is thrown at the person responsible.
That's good news about the energy payments reducing too - I suspect ours will stay roughly where they are for the time being at least but that's fine with me for now.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I'm hoping it does stay dry RS so I can do double walkies with the dog today, he hates the rain and would sulk all evening

Not a no spends day today. I have been to get the weekend drink this morning. Think I am just about coming round to the idea of having a drink this weekend after how bad I felt last Sunday
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is warm pork pie with chips and mint and chilli mushy peas. We picked up an uncooked pork pie from the farm shop at the weekend. Looking forward to dinner tonight.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- cleaning the bathrooms
- vacuuming the house

It will be a no spends day today. It's also payday.
£200 sent to the savings account and £100 sent to the Premium Bonds account.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. It was toast for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is chicken tikka wraps.
It's Friday so no major jobs to do tonight. We need to walk the dog, I need to remember to plug the van in and I have a Shepherd's pie to make for dinner tomorrow night. None of which will take very long. Then we are going to watch a couple of films and have a couple of beers on the sofa.
I doubt we will be late out of bed tonight. It has seemed like a long week this week.
The pok choi and rainbow chard seem to have survived the mid week frosts and are growing like mad despite the chilly and overcast weather we have had. The beets and carrots are not showing any signs of life yet though.1 -
Happy pay day to you! I agree it's felt like a really long week so I'm ready for the weekend

Not a no spends day today. The dog is at the groomers today and we are going to the cafe for breakfast this morning. Need to pick a few little bits up from the farm shop as well.
We are booked onto a local campsite for a couple of nights this weekend. It's only about 15 minutes down the road but it's a nice site with some lovely dog walking on the doorstep.
Shepherds pie tonight for dinner. I made it last night so it just needs popping in the oven later on.2
