If you're staying close you don't have to put up with much bank holiday traffic
Have a great weekend!

Further afield next weekend.
Just taken the dog for a good walk around the lake here and then back up the hill to the site. It is a killer hill but fortunately the bar is located just at the top. Just recovering with a pint 🤣🤣🤣
Looks like we have timed it right with the weather. Can see the storm clouds brewing not far away.
We were in two minds about coming here again. It was over run with kids running amock last time. It is a family site so can't complain about it. This time though it seems to be mostly adults. A completely different atmosphere.
An hour out of the groomers and he was in the lake 🙄3 -

Not a no spends day today. We are going for a walk to the pub today. Its a good hours walk each way so the dog will get a good walk.
We are having a takeaway today for dinner because I have forgotten to bring the brisket we were supposed to be having for dinner 🙈
No worries. We can have that next weekend instead!
It will be a full English this morning to set us up for our walk. Hoping that the weather stays dry for us. It absolutely hammered it down yesterday when we got back to the van.1 -

It will probably be a no spends day today but I won't call it just yet.
It will be a full English for breakfast and dinner tonight will be a pasta bake and garlic bread I think.
We don't have to be off here until midday so no need to rush off today. We will fill the water up while we have a tap next to the van on the pitch. Easier then dragging the hose out at home.
Another day of dog walking I think today. Although he's busy snoring right now.

It has been a productive day. The van is all put away cleaned and tanks ready for next weekends trip to Robin Hoods Bay.
We have had an hour tidying up the gardens and have finally caught the grass dry enough to cut.
The dog had had a good run on the field. He now has yellow legs from the Dandelion pollen 🤣🤣🤣
We have a load of washing hung on the line to dry and another load in the machine. Think looking at the cloud building that might have to dry inside though.
We are just going to make the most of the last of this sunshine with a beer at the bar before the heavens open.
Then I have a cheese sauce to make for tonight's pasta bake.1 -
£300 sent to the credit card this morning. Must sort out a new deal for this in the next few days. £106 sent to the mortgage overpayment.
Not a no spends day today. We need to go and do the shopping after work.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores though. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is garlic butter chicken with noodles and stir fried vegetables.
Tonights jobs are:- walking the dog
- cleaning the inside of the windows
- shopping
Found out today that another member of our team has handed their notice in. So in 4 weeks time we will be even busier than we are at the moment.0
