Not a no spends day today. We are heading to Robin Hoods Bay for the weekend.
We are going to grab a McDonald's breakfast first and we have lasagna, jacket potato and garlic bread later for dinner. We have some vouchers for two free McDonald's meals that we keep forgetting to use. Will get them used today I think.
When we get where we are going we will no doubt go and find a pub for a few drinks. We will be camped at the top of the hill so wherever we go it will be a long walk back up to the van again 🤣🤣🤣1 -

Was at Robin Hoods Bay a month ago , enjoy your trip one of my favourite places on that coast. The walk up the hill will make you even fitter. Hoping for some photos.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0

The walk back up the hill wasn't as bad as we expected. Certainly not as bad as last weeks hill!
The site here is lovely. Very sloping but the owners have loads of ramps ti make sure you are level and they have put mats down so we don't sink into the grass.
Today we are going for a long walk on the beach.
Breakfast this morning is toasted sandwiches and dinner later is brisket with Yorkshire pudding and roasties.
We watched some of the coronation yesterday in the pub. It really was a magnificent display.1 -

We had a great day yesterday. The dog made a new friend and spents hours running around on the beach. He was shattered yesterday evening.
Unfortunately it is time to head home today. We have loved it here. Its a great location and we will definitely come back again.
We are having a quick breakfast this morning of cheese on eggy bread toast. We will pick some lunch up on the way home and we have chicken, rice and vegetables for dinner tonight.
We are going to fill the van up with diesel on the way out of here. It was £1.43 a litre which is way cheaper than anywhere at home by about 15p per litre. Just shows how much they are profiteering!3 -
We have not long since got home. The bank holiday traffic was terrible which I suppose was to be expected.
The weather didn't help. It has been heavy rain most of the way home.
We didn't stop for dinner on the way home so ordered a pizza in when we got sorted. That's filled a hole until later.
The dog is curled up in bed again now. He is still tired.
There is a load of washing in the machine but that is the limit of jobs I'm doing today. Will clean the van next weekend. We have a couple of weekends at home now which we are both looking forward to before we head to Cheddar Gorge at the end of the month.0
