Not a no spends day today. We have been and filled the car up with diesel this morning and I need to do the shopping tonight after work.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. It was toast for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon with noodles and stir fried vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • shopping
Back to work today. That long weekend soon disappeared. At least it isn't too long until the next one.

It is a no spends day today. Number 3 for May.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is vegetable quiche with chips and greens. Will see how long it takes the other half to realise it is a no meat day today.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • load of washing (probably the last load for the machine which is holding out until the end despite the racket it is making!!)

Not a no spends day today. We needed to pick some treats up for the dog for work so while there I picked up a few bits and the weekend drinks. So tomorrow should be a no spends day instead.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is lamb chops with garlic rice and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the house
We might get the washing machine out of the kitchen as well tonight so we don't have to mess about tomorrow night. The new one gets delivered on Saturday. Not sure what time yet but if it is early then we will need to have the old one outside ready for them to takeaway for us. I don't need it again now so it probably makes sense to do it tonight really. We shall see.

It will be a no spends day today. Number 4 for May.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pizza and a few beers on the sofa.

No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog. We pulled the washing machine out last night to save us a job today. It came out a lot easier than it went in that is for sure. We should find out today what time the new one will be delivered tomorrow. Hoping it won't be too late.

It's a bit chilly here this evening. Can tell there has been no sun during the day to warm the house through.

Have stuck the heating on for a couple of hours!

I’ve managed to resist turning the heating on but it’s definitely cold. I’m sure it was this time last year it was hot.

I don't think it will be a very spendy day today. We don't need to go out for much if anything today.

Breakfast is a full English and dinner later is a bbq if the weather holds. If not it will be a mixed grill.

The new washer dryer is being delivered between 3 and 5pm tonight so it turns out we needn't have rushed getting the old one out 🤣🤣🤣

Probably won't try it out until tomorrow.

We need to get the grass cut today and a bit of tidying up in the gardens. Nothing too bad though.

We will walk the dog somewhere local today. Can go further afield tomorrow.
