Not a no spends day after all. Just had to take the dog to the vets.
The other half rang me at work to say there was something wrong with him. He had peed in the offices which he never does and was panting badly.
So a trip to the vets, a consult and suite of blood tests later and £100 lighter we find out he is absolutely fine 🫤
Animals. Who would have them?
At least we had the money there to pay for it.

Haha fml re the dog. Vets can be absolute rip off merchants trading off worry in my experience. We've been ripped off by them before. Tbf there are some private medical practitioners that aren't an awful lot different. Some years back I convinced myself I had cancer, didn't but no one could tell me that. NHS weren't interested, three private doctors weren't interested but I managed to find one eventually who took my money, went all the way to London to have some !!!!!! horrible tests to tell me exactly what the original lot told me in the first place idk.
Agree with @Sun_Addict about the 3 years. This time 3 years ago we were still in that first lockdown no work, shops all shut biggest thing of the day waiting PE with Joe in the morning and then for BoJo, Chris and that health secretary who went on I'm a Celebrity at 6pm couldn't !!!!!! make it up. You'll be free of the debt in no time mate.3 -

Serves him right the little drama queen!
Oh well. At least we know he is fit and healthy now.2 -
It will be a no spends day today.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is burgers with chips, onion rings and corn on the cob.
No jobs to do tonight. So it is a few beers and a film on the sofa tonight. Saying that I must remember to plug the van in and turn the fridge on.
The dog is back to his usual cheeky self this morning.2 -

It will be a spendy day today. We are going to get breakfast at a favourite local dog friendly cafe and the dog will have a little doggy breakfast as well. Scrambled eggs and sausage he usually has.
We also need to go to the farm shop to pick up the half a sheep we ordered last weekend.
We are staying at a friend's house in Lincolnshire this weekend. We are taking the van, it's easier with the dog, plus they want to see the van, they have not seen it yet. They are not short of space to park it. They have a cafe and transport yard. 😀
The van will be looking very small parked with the lorries 🤣🤣🤣1 -
Hopefully we will get a pic of the van amongst the HGVs 😂
Mine would love a doggy breakfast. He’s partial to a croissant… not had any lately though due to the diet 🙄Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £7390 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3677/£6000 | Travel savings £1832 | Sinking pots £31071 -

A late comment today. It has been a bit of a write off of a day really. We have both been incredibly hung over 🤣🤣🤣
We didn't set off for home early we had plenty of coffee and a good walk with the dogs before attempting to move the van.
We were supposed to be having roast lamb for dinner tonight but I just can't face cooking it so it's pizza tonight and I will put the lamb in the slow cooker tomorrow.
On the plus side its been a no spends day.
