We have ended up with some lovely Loch Duart salmon fillets for dinner later.
We have driven the 40 minutes up the coast to our next stop and in the style of the week someone is parked in our bay again. We have parked next to them and will move across later on when they go.
Unfortunately the heavens have opened so we have not had a long walk this afternoon. Will get one later. We are huddled in the van with a hot cup of coffee for now.

De-lurking, I wondered if it is your dog in the photo on the retrospective thread MSE Forum Retrospective 2022 (moneysavingexpert.com)

We are heading further north today. Just over the Scottish border.
We had a terrible nights sleep thanks to our neighbours. They have parked in a non overnight bay so are far too close too us, had a silly loud diesel heater on all night and then presumably had battery issues because they fired the engine up at 1pm. Not a great night. Can't hear the heater now so presumably their battery is dead and we will be treated to the rattly diesel engine again shortly.
We are going to take the dog for a nice walk this morning before we leave. Get some fresh air after yesterday's rain.
Breakfast is eggy bread this morning and we will buy something for dinner later when we get where we are going. So not a no spends day again.

Was that at a Brit Stop @RelievedSheff? If it was complain to the Chris, the guy that runs Brit Stops - you'll probably get a reduction on next year's book, if not a free book. We had to complain about one we stayed at a few years ago. We don't even bother with the book now, if we want to stay overnight at a pub we just go in and ask if we can, most pubs will let you.
Diesel heaters are awful for the noise aren't they - we had a van like that at a CCC DA meet we went to a while back. I'm not even sure that people that have them are even aware of the racket they make but definitely inconsiderate starting their engine at 1am, absolutely no need for that. Hope you get a better night's sleep tonight.0
