Found a cracking free park up for tonight at South Gare near Redcar.

It's a bit blowy at the minute but it's due to die down at about 5pm.

Happy New Year's Eve to you all.

We are now completely undecided as to what we are doing today now. We are supposed to be moving 45 minutes down the coast today but we absolutely love it here so we might stay here another night. Will see how we feel later.

Either way breakfast is a full English and dinner later is steak, chips, onion rings, stuffed mushroom and grilled peppers and tomatoes.

If we stay here it will be a no spends day if we move on we have parking to pay and a few beers in a pub at lunchtime.

The weather sounds wet again. Hoping that will stop at some point so we can go and explore.

If you haven't actually booked anything for tonight I think I'd just stay put particularly as you love where you are and it will make it a no spend day which is of course very MSE!

Dinner sounds amazing!  Assume you have a full oven in your van - we haven't in our unfortunately.  We only have a small oven/grill which is pretty useless so tend to just use the hob most of the time.

The parking isn't paid for tonight at the other place. You pay on arrival. So we won't lose anything if we do stay. Still undecided now. If it wasn't forecast to rain all day we would stay here without a doubt.

We have an oven and grill and 3 hobs. The oven isn't the quickest bit we can work around that now we know.

We decided to stay here again tonight. The weather is much better than the forecast and we have been for a good walk and stayed dry.

Loads of other vans here today. I expect it will be really busy tonight.

Looks amazing. We’re looking at the weather and trying to decide whether to take the van out overnight tomorrow.
Happy New Year when it arrives 🎉🥂

    Happy New Year.

Unfortunately we are back home tomorrow. Milo will be parked up for few weeks then until we go to York at the end of January.
