Definitely not a no spends day today. We need to get diesel and gas for the van on our way up North.
It's McDonald's breakfast time as well with it being the start of another road trip and tonight we are hoping to be able to get an Indian takeaway.
The boys are still sound asleep so I will let them lie in. We have no real rush to get off. Our parking space for the night is booked and paid for. We only need to fill the water tank and bleed the water system through and the van is ready to go.
I suspect we will have an overly excited dog very shortly when he realises we are out in the van. He hasn't been out in it for a while.2 -

You'll wake a giant refreshed. @RelievedSheff I'm loving your diary; I'd never have been mad enough to embark on it, given its length, but for the hollies! Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx
Mind you it sounds like your new pup is keeping you on your toes. Sounds a character.1 -
RelievedSheff Yes it has not been a good year for our dogs but that was the hazard of having 3 older dogs. Our new boy is certainly hard work when out for walks.

Enjoy the road trip.
I’ve never been to Sherwood but we had a day trip to Clumber just before lockdown. We have said we’ll venture that way with the van at some point.
Thats heartbreaking to loose your dogs ladyholly.January spends - £587.582 -
Well that was an unexpectedly long journey thanks to a major accident on the A1.
We got here at last. Unfortunately someone is parked in our bay so we will have to move again when they leave. We are just in a spare bay at the moment. Might end up leaving it here if no one turns up.
We have had a quick walk and it is very pretty here. Lots of nice dog walks for in the morning.

Not a no spends day today. I need to pick something up for dinner later. Thinking steak or salmon depends if the fish mongers or the butchers is open.
Breakfast this morning is toasted sandwiches made with the last of the Christmas turkey and ham that isn't in the freezer.
Today we are having a better look around the town and harbour here before we head off to our next stop about 20 miles up the coast.4 -
