Happy Christmas Eve everyone. Hope you are all ready for the big day.
It is most definitely a no spends day here. Notgoing anywhere near a shop or a pub today.
We have family coming over later for a couple of hours. But that is the sum total of our plans for today.
Breakfast is bacon and scrambled eggs on toast and dinner later is slow cooked cola ham and a cheesy vegetable bake.
We will take the dog out somewhere for a good long walk as well.2 -
Glad to read you are feeling better. We have our carpets and oven cleaned in the Spring. I did vax our living room and hall and scrub conservatory upvc before putting up decorations though.
Enjoy your family visit. We have a buffet party for family/friends this afternoon/evening so lots of cooking for me today.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. You can't turn your back on the Dodford a second with presents around. He has unwrapped one from next door 🙈1

That’s why I hide all our presents until Christmas Day. The dog thinks they’re all for her. I love how your neighbour buys your dog a present 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Our dog always gets lots of presents too, he didn’t have toys before he came to us and had to learn how to play from my friends dog. He loves them now and I feel we are making up for lost time, he has his own toy box. Just wish he would learn how to put them back 😂Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £7390 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3677/£6000 | Travel savings £1832 | Sinking pots £31071

He didn't know what a bed was. He slept next too it for the first week we had him ☹️
Mind you he has made up for it now.
Ours has never learned to put toys back in his toy boxes either. Mind you why would he when he has two servents to pick them up for him 🤣🤣🤣2 -
