Sorry to heat you’re both unwell. Loads of people I know have had the same bug. When you’re not well you just have to eat what you fancy/can be bothered making whether it’s healthy or not. Hope you both start feeling better soon. I bet the dog wonders what’s going off! They do sense when you’re not yourself, mine’s the same.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Get well soon! I’ve had staff off sick in recent weeks with something similar and a few weeks back I was really ill. It’s not Covid, there has been some news about a virus that isn’t Covid but causing similar issues. More in hospital with flu than Covid too according to the news. I think we’ve likely all built some kind of immunity to Covid either through having it or vaccination or a combination of both.
Our dog is similar when we aren’t well and tend to agree with what others have said about food.0 -
Hope you both begin to pick up and feel much better. I’m another who thinks that you should just eat whatever you fancy.January spends - £587.580

Another day at home for the pair of us, although we both feel much better today.
The other half is back to work tomorrow.
I had already booked Thursday and Friday off work so won't be going in for one day tomorrow.
We had a McDonald's breakfast delivered this morning. Didn’t fancy making anything. I am doing us some salmon and noodles for dinner later. Something quick and easy.
We have been out for a walk with the dog to get some fresh air today. Think we needed it.

I am glad you're over the worst of it, pleased it's shifted before Christmas for you! I'm a firm believer that fresh air makes you feel better too!
Take care

£393 sent to the motorhome loan today.
The other half has packed himself off to work this morning. He is feeling a lot better.
I have a day of tidying and cleaning the house. We have the oven cleaner and carpet cleaners coming tomorrow. Must make the house look like ours and less like a student house 🤣🤣🤣
The bedding is in the wash. I need to vacuum each room properly and give the kitchen a good clean.
The dog is sulking because his dad has gone to work without him.2 -
Glad your OH is feeling better and I hope you are too? You have a big task list today, but try to do a bit at a time and don't over-do it xLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £7390 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3677/£6000 | Travel savings £1832 | Sinking pots £31071

Thanks all. I'm taking it steady. Doing a bit then sitting down again. It's getting there.
The dishwasher is currently busy cleaning the cooker hood grilles, hob pan stands and burners. Was going to wash them by hand then thought why? The dishwasher is sat there.
Found out we have been awarded a 3.5% payrise from 1st January. Really can't complain at that as its on top of the 4.6% we got last January and 3% we got in June.
The housework is almost done now, dog has been for a walk, dinner is in the oven.
Time for a chilled out afternoon I think.1
