The hamper sounds brilliant. Has it got a bottle of Henderson’s Relish in it, my mum used to love that and always stocked up when she went back to visit her sister.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

But it did have lots of other local produce, handmade chocolates, handmade biscuits and crackers, local raw honey, local jams and chutneys and a bottle of fizz and a Whirlow Hall Farm cook book.2 -
We are aiming for a no spends day today.
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast of course and tonight we are having slow cooked beef madras with basmati rice, Persian bread, onion bhaji and samosa.
We are going to socially distanced deliver Christmas presents to family today. Get that job out of the way and then we are done for Christmas. No more running around, we can chill out and relax.
We will take the dog out for a good walk as well while we are out and about. Not sure where yet though.4 -
I haven’t even wrapped my presents yet let alone delivered them, you are very well organised 🎁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Everything is now delivered and we had a lovely social distanced walk with the sister in law and nieces.
Just got back home and written the last of the Christmas cards and posted them.
Just pouring a gin and tonic now as we sit down for the first time today!5 -
Another no spend day today.
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English breakfast again today and later we have roast chicken and all the trimmings.
Today we are going to take the dog for a long walk and then when we get back we are going to bake a crab apple jelly tart and get the board games out. Might go for Scrabble today. I'm sure we will have a few drinks as well.4 -
We need to do Christmas deliveries at some point, you’ve just reminded me lol. Probably next week now. Wife’s family all fairly local but my sister is 1.5 hours each way. Actually not even sure we can go there tbh. 100 we’ll still be tier 3.Curry night sounds fantastic. We don’t eat at Indian restaurants. Wife hates them but likes a curry and makes them. About 10 months ago I went to an Indian restaurant with a couple of car mates honestly would never go back out of choice haha those homemade curries will 100 spoil you!4

The curry last night was really nice. We do like going out for a curry when we can but they are rarely as good as a homemade one.
We managed to time it right going out for a walk with the dog. Got back just as it started to rain heavily. Now sat in the kitchen while the dog dries off. He is in his bed snoring away.
Dinner is prepared for later. Time to get the board games out and a beer I think.4 -
I prefer a home made curry, you know what’s going into it. I’ve just got back from taking the dog on the park. She is absolutely filthy, the place is a mud bath. Enjoy your games and beer 🍻I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
