  • The weather has been dire here too from lunchtime onwards so looks like it’s been countrywide. Stay nice and cosy in the van.
It is lovely and warm on here. Something quite relaxing about watching the horrible weather outside while we are warm and cosy inside 😀

We can have a bit of a lazy morning today. The van isn't going anywhere so the boys are enjoying a lie in. Still sounds blustery outside.

Breakfast this morning will be using some stuff up from the fridge. Not quire a full English.

Dinner later is pasta bake and garlic bread. We had chicken and noodles instead last night.

Today's plan is to jump on the bus somewhere. Probably Falmouth I think. Do a bit of shopping, find a couple of pubs and let someone else do the driving.😀

Sounds like a splendid plan indeed 🍻

Certainly wouldn't fancy being a bus driver round here. They Certainly earn their wage on these roads!

Cracking service though. £5 day ticket and you can hop on and off as many buses as you like. £20 for a weekly ticket. Not out of the way at all.

Falmouth was very busy with American tourists today. A cruise ship was docked in the harbour and they were all on shore leave. It was a nightmare at times for walking around.

Two of our favourite shops, Joules and Quba had big end of season sales on so we have picked up a few bargains and we did finally manage to get into a pub for a drink.

Now back on the van with a shattered dog, again. The weather is just starting to turn again now. So a few beers with the heating on and then a warming pasta bake.

The rain is hammering on the roof this morning. Heavy rain expected until 11am today, which is when we have to be off site. Would be handy if it stopped a little early so we can deal with the tanks in the dry.

Not got far to go today. Just down the road to Mevagissey.

We need to pick up some food today. Stores are looking a little low.

We have some nice sour dough toast for breakfast this morning,  we will pick some lunch up in Mevagissey and dinner later is a lamb Sunday lunch.

The boys are still snoring away. They can have a lie in this morning. No rush to get up.

I love Mevagissey, been there quite a few times. Mr SA and our dog are still fast off too 😆

Have a great day, hope it stops raining soon.

We used to keep our caravan at Carnon Downs…..it was there for about 20 years. It’s since been taken over by MCC - we popped in last year to see if it had changed much. There were a few changes…..especially the price 😳 We loved it as it was so central 👍 Enjoy -I’m jealous 😀
    January spends - £587.58

Could not believe the change in the weather yesterday. It ended up being a lovely day.

The parking here was expensive. £21 for daytime and overnight. But worth every penny for the location. Had a really quiet night.

Back into Devon for us today. Need to call to a shop along the way and make sure we have food supplies for a few days.

Wanted some fresh fish but forgot the stall would be shut on a Sunday. Don't think it will reopen before we have to leave at 10am this morning!

Can hear the fishing boats leaving the harbour now as we lay in bed 😀
