We had a nice walk around Charlestown this morning before it got busy. The weather has been kind too us again today.

Then we moved onto what should have been our overnight stay at Mutton Cove, Plymouth. While the park up and views were lovely we were not happy with the area we had to drive through to get there.

So we have moved onto a park and ride with free 24 hour motorhome parking. Not the most picturesque stopover ever, but it feels a lot safer. Right next door to the Princess Yachts factory as well.

Lamb for dinner tonight. We didn't eat it yesterday so will have it tonight instead.2 -
Ahh loving the photos RS - such a shame that the weather was so grim for the Lizard though, it's one of my favourite places! As for having to drive through a grim area to get to your original location in Plymouth, well if you WILL go to Plymouth...

Further round into Devon today. We are on a site for a couple of nights. Can't get on until 1pm though so we will find somewhere to explore on the way there.
Will cobble something together from the fridge for breakfast. Got loads of stuff to use up. And dinner later is a bit of a pick an mix ploughman's type dinner.
Guess we will get up soon and see what today holds. I can see through the roof hatch it is grey sky not blue today.

Before you leave Plymouth, take the dog for a walk alongside the railway line and river up towards Plymbridge Woods - you may have difficulty keeping him out of the water! Our Springer Spaniel used to think it was doggy heaven.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661

Brilliant photos as always. A shame the weather has been hit and miss for you though.2

We are struggling with a lack of Internet reception at the moment where we are.
Beautiful place though with a terrible history.

It will be our second night on site tonight. Nice to have a day off travelling.2 -
Ahh I love that end of Slapton Sands, and yes, you're right about the sad history, it's nice that they have now made more of it and the memorial etc is there. It's a favourite haunt of the family as of course most of the inlaws live in Dartmouth so it's a nice beach for picnics etc - Blackpool Sands is closer but it also gets a LOT busier in the summer months in particular!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
