Loving the photos RS and not surprised our narrow country lanes have been tricky to negotiate with a motorhome.  I walk the south west coast path a lot (a different section each week if I can) and have seen a lot of  those places. Mevagissey is one of my favourites as is Appledore up near Bideford.  Did you manage to get over to see Hartland Quay?

The debt is coming down nicely too.  I have been away in Canada for a month so only now getting back to MSE. Good progress made.

There used to be a really nice pub at Torcross. I dont know if its still there as we left the area in 1985. They actually found and dug out the tank while we lived in the area. The incident was virtually unknown until then. I dont know if you ever watched Foyles war but it was referenced in one of the later epispodes.

It has been third time lucky finding a park up for tonight.

First stop was Paignton which was lovely but after a wander round we decided we didn't want to stay overnight.

So we tried one pub stop but the only access road in and out was closed. So we have ended up at another pub stop The Blue Ball on the outskirts of Exeter.

Lovely old pub just off the M5. Just having a couple of drinks now and will be back in later for dinner.

We are into Dorset today for our last night down here. Had a lovely walk along Chisel Beach and Portland Bill.

Tonight's stopover is The Pulpit Inn at Portland.

Back up to Nottinghamshire tomorrow. A lot closer to home for our final night.

You’ve had a fantastic break by the looks of it.  We were watching £ million motorhome last night….some folk had given up their homes to live in the MH…..mmmm…..don’t think I’m that dedicated.

    Me neither.

Can see the appeal of a long term trip. But would like to know I have a home to come back too.

We have had a great time down here. Can't believe how it has flown by. Wecould easily do another couple of weeks. But equally I am looking forward to getting home and into the big shower 🤣🤣🤣

It has flown by! Always nice to get in your own bed though. Glad you’ve had a brilliant time.

We had a long drive back to Nottinghamshire yesterday. But the weather was lovely when we parked up so we went for a walk to the pub. We all needed to stretch our legs.

We had a really quiet night for our last night with some slow cooked minted lamb shanks. Just the way to finish off the holiday.

A short 45 minute drive home this morning. The dog was so excited to be home. He is crashed out now in his kitchen bed waiting for his roast pork dinner later. Will be novel to use the full size oven tonight 😀

We have unloaded the van and put it back in the drive. Next weekends job is giving it a good wash inside and out.

We had to go to the farm shop this morning to get some meat and vegetables. Despite having a freezer full of meat it was of course all frozen when we got home 😕

We have picked up the half goat while we were there so the garage freezer is now looking a lot more stocked up again.

A load of washing is on the line to dry and a load is in the spare bathroom drying. I'm glad we decided midway through the trip to do a load of laundry now. It hasn't been too bad with that today.

Dinner is now prepared and we have totted up how much the 16 days has cost us. We were genuinely surprised at the figure. A lot less than we thought considering we have been to the pub most days and have eaten out when we wanted too and bought a fair few items of clothing.

    Happy days 😀
