It's been an interesting drive today. The sat nav it turns out takes the vehicle dimensions quite literally 😵‍💫

They must have known at this campsite that we love a Seaview. We have got an epic pitch. Probably the best on the site 😀

Well that has been a stormy night. Glad we went to bed early and got some sleep before it kicked up a fuss!

Feel sorry for the people in tents further up the hill.

Still blowing a gale out now although it seems to have calmed down a little bit now.

We move on again today. No rush to go though. Full English breakfast first. Then we need to deal with the tanks. We are off sites for 3 nights now.

We have loads of lamb leftovers from last nights dinner so I will make a lamb and tomato based dish with loads of veggies chucked through it and serve it with some garlic bread I think.

Hopefully today's route might be a bit less challenging 😬

What a stunning view but eek to the roads to get there! Still, I guess as long as they were wide enough - just - not a problem aside from the shredded nerves!

It has been really windy down here today. We have another exposed park up so expecting to be buffeted around again tonight.

    Really pretty place Appledore though.

There were more of "those" roads to get here though. Other half is loving it 🤣🤣🤣

It was another stormy night last night. We lowered the rear corner steadies for the first time which helped no end with the rocking. We have both had a much better sleep. Must remember to use the steadies more often.

Looks set to be another windy day today. We have a choice of a few places to overnight where we are going today so will opt for the least exposed one I think!

We have a bit further to drive today but looking at the route it should unless the sat nav has other plans be mostly A road.

Breakfast will be using up some stuff in the fridge today. Not sure what dinner will be. There is a fresh fish stall on the quayside here selling what they catch from their own boat moored opposite so might get something from there. We shall see.

Hope you get some better roads today RS, some of those look pretty hairy!  It's been stormy here too and the wind is relentless through the woods at the back of our house. Can imagine the steadies made it less like sleeping on a boat? :D

Nothing quite like fresh fish at the coast, enjoy!

It's not windy as such here at the moment but definitely a bit more blustery than it has been - autumnal breezes I guess! I've noticed the headwind affecting how much effort is required when cycling though! Appledore always looks lovely but I've only ever been past it on the boat coming back from Lundy!

Rain has very much stopped play today. It has chucked it down from the second we have arrived here in Tintagle.

We had plans to walk down to see the castle and Merlins Cave but have decided against it. We had a walk around the village and a quick pint and are now back on the van with the heating on.

Small blessings though. We are sheltered from the wind today and the rain is washing the last few days salt spray off the van 😀

Didn't get the fish this morning the stall was closed so we went and had a lovely breakfast instead. Will use up the sausage in the fridge for dinner tonight instead.
