Not long until your holiday now - 2 more work get ups. Looking forward to the photos 😀

  • It's going to be a long two days if the last two have been anything to go by 🤔
  • It will be a no spends day today. Number 7 I think for September. Will double check that later.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is lamb chops with garlic and herb potatoes and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • vacuuming the house
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • starting to load up the van
    • must remember to plug the van in and turn on the fridge
    • packing clothes
A busier night tonight that normal. I usually take a day off before we go away somewhere to get this sort of stuff sorted out but due to work commitments can't do that this time. It will be a busier night tomorrow night as well.
  • That’s a lot to get through this evening - and yes, remember to plug the van in! 🤣 (And that confirms that I’ve read the bits of the thread I’d missed over the last few weeks!)

  • Sheff I meant to ask you earlier this week if you have been here when you have visited Cornwall?

Visit Trebah | Trebah Garden Cornwall

It was on TV at the weekend and it reminded me what a lovely pace it is to visit.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

  • Another no spends day today. Number 8 I think. Never did check that.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is lamb burgers with onion rings and corn on the cob.

Another busy night tonight. Tonight's jobs are:

    • finishing packing our clothes
    • finishing loading up the van
    • cooking tomorrow night's shepherd's pie
    • cooking tonights dinner
    • bathing the dog
And at some point we will sit down with a cold beer and relax. Will be an early night tonight. We have an early start in the morning.

Enjoy Cornwall…..I’m jealous. We’re back there in spring 😀

  • Hopefully all your packing and other bits are going to plan - enjoy the cold beers and have a safe trip. Looking forward to seeing lovely Cornish photos - this time last year we were looking forward to heading down that way ourselves!
