Dinner sounds lovely tonight RS and looks like hubby did a good job last night too! It's raining here so we have laundry in the middle bathroom (drying room) as it looks to be set for the day.

Curry looks tasty 👍
Grey and miserable here looks as if it’ll rain anytime 💦💦💦January spends - £587.582 -
We keep getting the odd shower here. At the moment it is quite bright and sunny.
Just had a pleasant walk around the park with the dog. Back to work now for a few hours before dog walking again after work.1 -
Moved our washing line pole today as wasn’t happy where it was in the garden. Just got DH to cement it in, waiting for it to set, so no washing hanging out today. Was a busy day on my bank balance today as been out shopping to fill cupboards and freezer up. Sorted out the rest of the finances so hopefully no more spends till next week. Tennessee steak sounds lovely, enjoy your tea. Noticed in the press they are on about hosepipe bans coming into force due to a drought.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

It will be another no spends day today. We seem to be getting a few in now we are towards the end of the month. Must go back and count them up but I don't expect we have that many this month.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is smoked hake with rice and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- load of washing (I have put this on a wash dry cycle today. Doesn't look like we are getting any dry weather to hang it on the line)
- cleaning the bathrooms
- walking the dog

Your dinner sounds nice. Reminds me I've got a piece of smoked haddock to use up at some stage.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Another no spends day. We seem to be on a roll with them this week. Really must try and get a few more in next month while we get the chance. September and October won't have many as we are on holiday for a couple of weeks.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon wellington with vegetables.
While the oven is on tonight I am also going to make a batch of jacket potatoes to stick in the freezer for the van. We tend to buy the premade frozen jacket spuds for the van, the oven isn't really hot enough to make "fresh" ones in a reasonable time. The frozen ones have become really expensive so we have decided to have a go at making our own frozen version. Can't see any reason why they shouldn't work just the same.
Tonight's jobs are:- cleaning the kitchen
- vacuuming the house
- making jacket spuds
- walking the dog
I managed to fall over on our walk yesterday evening as well
Not even sure how I managed it but before I knew it I was sat on my bottom. Fortunately no harm done other than dented pride and there was no one other than the other half and the dog around to see it happen!1 -
Glad you didn’t hurt yourself when you fell. I’ve fallen over in public a couple of times in the past and it’s so embarrassing.A woman at work used to make her own frozen jacket spuds and bring them in for lunch. As far as I know they were successful so worth a try.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I've frozen jacket potatoes successfully. They reheat really well on the BBQ so ideal when you're out and about in the motorhome.2
