The flea and worm tablet our dog has also repels ticks.
Seems to work as he hasn't had any since we swapped him to the tablet from a spot on type treatment.
Horrible beasties!
On a more pleasant note we are loving exploring new places with the van and also visiting places we know from the boat but seeing them from a different perspective.3 -
The views of the Humber look amazing.
The pie and chips picture is making my belly rumble. I can’t eat gluten so proper chunky pastry just looks incredible

Just checked the menu and the pie I had, the Polo Pony which is mixed game, was gluten free 😀
They really do cater for everyone. The vegetarian range is impressive.3 -
It won't be a no spends day today. I need to go to the shops after work tonight and do a bit of a stock up shop.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight will be pork jalfrezi made with the leftovers from yesterdays Sunday dinner served with pilau rice, onion bhaji and vegetable samosa.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- vacuuming the house
- putting the shopping away

I had a nice surprise when I got back from the shops this evening. The other half had cooked the curry and it was amazing.
He had loaded it up with vegetables and it was so tasty.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is Tennessee steak with stir fried vegetables and noodles.
Depending on the weather later I might try and get a load of washing done and hung out to dry after work. If not it can wait until tomorrow.
I think we are going to take the dog for a longer walk somewhere after work as well. Not sure where yet but we may as well make use of this cooler spell of weather. I keep seeing in the news that we are due another hot spell next month. Fingers crossed it isn't as bad as the last one!1
