I only heard them get up once in the night, can hear them both snoring away downstairs right now. Will leave them be while they are sleeping.
I guess our plans for the day are dog dependent today.
We should be going to the local pub for a BOGOF breakfast this morning before heading into town to buy some new shoes.
Dinner later is roast chicken. Probably in the oven judging by the rain hammering on the window. It was going on the bbq but never mind.
I have got a couple more loads of washing to do. The fleecy blanket the dog and kids had in the garden really needs washing and putting away. Think it's on the living room floor right now in case of dog accidents!

He seems OK this morning thanks.
Just been for a walk around the block and he has had a bit of something to eat.
He wasn't ill again overnight. The other half just took him around the block in case he needed to go.
He is definitely a lot more alert and brighter in himself.

Good to hear he’s feeling better. My dog often fishes old bits of pizza out of DD’s bin even though I keep telling her to empty it regularly. The dog doesn’t seem to be affected by it thankfully.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

We had our dog at the vets yesterday. Third time in three months, hope that’s it for now. Must have for something in his paw, vet said probably a grass seed that then got infected and was left with a yucky cyst. He was licking his paw but nothing else. Anyway they burst and cleaned out the cyst , antibiotics, pain killers and £91 later he is fine. But you do worry when they aren’t well. Hoping your little one is over the worse.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

Ours is back to normal again now. Hope yours recovers quickly.
With dog well again we went to the pub for breakfast which was really nice. £9 for two breakfasts, toast and coffee. Can't really complain at that.
Then the shoe hunt began. I got mine quickly. The other half couldn't find any so we decided to go to Newark where we might have more luck. He did eventually find some and we had a nice walk round as well.
I do like Newark.

We are now back home. I have vacuumed the van, prepared dinner, put a load of washing away which was in the bathroom drying and put the fleece blanket in the wash to hang out to dry. That's nearly done now.
I was going to weed the front garden but I'm running out of enthusiasm now so might do that one day in the week instead.2 -
I like Newark, not been for ages, used to be able to catch a bus straight there from the end of my road but we have to change at Southwell now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

We used to spend a lot of time in Newark on the boat.Sun_Addict said:I like Newark, not been for ages, used to be able to catch a bus straight there from the end of my road but we have to change at Southwell now.
Having trouble finding somewhere suitable to park the van there though which is a shame.1 -
