We got our jobs done really early this morning so we took a visit to a steam and vintage rally we had seen advertised locally. It was really enjoyable. Some fantastic machines on display and lots of very friendly enthusiastic owners.
We both really enjoyed it. Fair play to the owners of the big commercial stuff as well for displaying their vehicles not only static but in the show ring when fuel is so expensive!

After a fantastic weekend we are back into the working week. A short week for me only four days this week.
It will be a no spends day today. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is the legs from last nights rotisserie chicken reheated and served with some lime rice, corn on the cob and homemade coleslaw.
Tonight's jobs are:- vacuuming the house
- cleaning the kitchen
- walking the dog

Not a no spends day today. I have had to go and pick a few bits up from the shop this morning. Mainly bread for sandwiches and we need to pick up some milk on the way home.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. It was toast for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is slow cooked minted lamb shanks which I stuck in the slow cooker this morning served with root veg mash and greens.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- load of washing to put on the line (or in the spare bathroom depending on the weather)

Love the steam rally pics. We used to have a Monza caravan similar to the one showed, although I think that one is bigger……ours was a Monza 1000.
The chicken looks very tasty 👍

wow that rally looks amazing - and a right mix of exhibitors too by the look of it! Love the vintage caravan although I suspect I wouldn't enjoy towing it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
