It is all about getting into the habit of saving, even if it's only a small amount, anything is better than nothing. At least you'll have the money there for the car and van costs and not have to put it on the credit card.

Good idea to take tomorrow off and get prepared for your holiday. Where are you off to this time?
We are off to the Isle of Wight this time.

Our first proper holiday for this year. 10 days of no work, for me anyway, the other half is at work tomorrow. Well he has a hospital appointment at 8.30am in the morning so he won't be at work while at least 10am tomorrow morning.

    Bit of everything this time.

We are on a site the first night, we will have had a long day travelling so fancied knowing where we will be stopping.

Then a couple of nights off sites, a night midweek on the CAMC club site, then back out for a couple of nights off site and our last night on the island is on site again close to the ferry terminal.

Our last night out is on a site again as we want to go to Diddly Squat farm shop on the way home and there is a handy campsite right next door 😀

More sites than we would normally like to do in a week. But sometimes it's just easier I suppose.

Have a great holiday.  Good that you are getting some savings put away and only a few months until that debt figure starts with a 2.

A day off work for me today.

The other half is at the hospital this morning at 8.30am so a lie in for us both this morning. The dog has jumped on the bed and is enjoying unexpected daddy cuddles.

A busy day in store for me shopping, cleaning, tidying, cooking and packing. It certainly won't feel like a day off.

Definitely not a no spends day 🤣🤣🤣

Bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast this morning, I think a jacket potato for my lunch, the other half will take his packed lunch to work, and slow cooked beef madras for dinner later with rice, samosa and naan bread.

I think the dog is going to work with the other half. It will be easier to keep him out of my way today. It will be his last day with the current receptionist as well. She leaves next week. Luckily he likes the new one 😃
