Oh and the dog was after eating the fish!1 -
We are home again now and the van is sorted and back in the drive.
We called and filled up the LPG tank and diesel on the way home so it is full for our next trip to the Isle of Wight.
LPG was probably the cheapest we have paid this year at 80ppl. Diesel was the most expensive at £1.93 per litre.
I have a load of washing on the line to dry. There are some stormy looking clouds out though. Hoping any rain holds off for a couple of years.
The other half has just taken the dog for a quick walk while I prepared dinner for later.1 -
I wish the rain would hold off for a couple of years 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
It will be a no spends day today. The first for a while.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is chicken enchiladas made with the left overs from yesterdays Sunday dinner.
Tonight's jobs are:- cleaning the bathrooms
- vacuuming the house
- walking the dog

The new BBQ has just been delivered to the other half's work which was much quicker than expected. We were not expecting it until Thursday at the earliest!!
I suspect that means we have a change of plan tonight and we will be building that instead
