A no spends day today other than £95 direct debit to the energy company.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toasted fruit loaf, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is jerk chicken, rice and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- delivering fathers day present
- vacuuming the house
- cleaning the bathrooms
- walking the dog

It won't quite be a no spends day but we will literally be spending a few quid today. So very low spends.
Breakfast and lunch are from stores. It was crumpets for breakfast and we have both taken our packed lunches to work. Dinner tonight is burgers from the local pub. It is their BOGOF on burgers deal on a Thursday and we have some Pub Tokens to use up. So two burgers and four pints will cost us £2.
No jobs to do today as we are at the pub tonight.3 -
The finances look much simpler now with just the one card. Enjoy your pub trip. I agree a lot of pubs don’t seem to be doing well but a lot down our way say they are full even though they have empty tables as they don’t have the staff to run them. They all disappeared during the pandemic and most seem to have issues replacing and training new staff.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Bargain meal out, can't knock it. You will get loads of use out of the BBQ so makes sense to get a good one. Agree with ES the finances look much more streamlined with one card.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

And they are really good burgers as well. We go for the deluxe big double stack burgers as well at that. Needless to say the dog brings home a good doggy bag with him.1 -
