Nice saving on the beer, if you have the space it's silly not to stock up whilst it's on offerLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £7390 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3677/£6000 | Travel savings £1832 | Sinking pots £31071

Might as well stock up at that price. Who knows how much longer these good deals will go on for. Nice to have another trip on the horizon 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Definitely going to get another 6 cases of beer tomorrow if they are still on offer. Can't see them being this price for much longer!1 -
Not a no spends day today. We got more beer this morning to put in the garage. Speaking to the staff they think the deal is on all next week as well so we may pick some more up next week as well.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pizza and a few beers watching a couple of films.
No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog.0 -
Happy Friday 😎 I wonder if the extended beer offer is because it's Father's Day a week on Sunday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

I am a wine drinker so there are rarely such offers for me, I do occasionally enjoy a beer but I don't enjoy the effect it has on my bladder
Enjoy your evening, sounds nice and relaxing

Card 7 had some really good balance transfer offers so I have decided to transfer the remaining balances on Cards 5 and 6 onto Card 7. The 0% rate was running out on Card 6 next month anyway and transferring both balances means that we will now only have one monthly credit card repayment.
I will update the balances once the transfers go through in the next few days.
We will close Card 6 account once the transfer has completed. This is the account with the smallest credit limit and it won't get used anymore.
Might look at closing Card 4 account down as well. It doesn't get used and we will have enough remaining credit between Cards 5 and 7 to cover any major emergencies going forward.4 -
Not a no spends day today. The dog is at the groomers this morning and it's the other half's birthday today.
We were going into Sheffield for a drink catching the train in, but he has just announced he would prefer a few drinks in the local and a bbq, which suits me fine. It will be cheaper 😃
We need to get up in a minute if we are getting the dog to the groomers for 9am.2 -
Sounds like a better plan to me, I haven't been out drinking in Sheffield for years, I prefer Leeds if we go to the city. Hope Mr RS has a lovely birthday, looks like it's going to be cracking weather!
