Loving the photos….I’m wondering if the little foot ferry is the one we went on a few years back…a family run one that has been there a long time.

We love beetroot. Got loads growing in the garden at the minute.

Can't take any merit for the burgers though. They are straight from Aldi :)

They are very nice though. Even the other half approves. He has not noticed there is no meat on the menu today yet though. Sure it will dawn on him at some point this evening.

Just had our six monthly water bill and it is good news for a change. Our payment is to remain the same.

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon with rice and vegetables.

    Today's jobs are:
    • load of washing
    • walking the dog
We think we have some family coming over tonight to drop the other half's birthday present. They couldn't decide if they were coming tonight or tomorrow night but we think it will be tonight.

Not a no spends today. We have stocked up on some beer while it is on offer at £10 per crate of 18. Think we will do the same again tomorrow so that we have plenty to take away to the Isle of Wight at the end of the month. Take advantage of the offers while we can. It's a saving of £4 per crate so not to be sniffed at. Saved us £24 this morning!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is spag bol with garlic bread.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • vacuuming the house
    • walking the dog
